This is our third year as a Community Interest Company. Our peer support activities have continued to be well attended and we have looked to open new projects to reflect the needs of the community.The breakfast event runs once a month, there is a weekly model making and craft group, an allotment project, a minibus for trips out and a new hub.Attendance numbers for the projects have increased on the previous year with the following visitors:-Armed forces and Emergency services breakfast club - 887 peopleModel and craft group - 635 peopleWinter warm hun (ran from October to March) - 290 visits, broken down further into 30 different cap badges and services, and 20 different support services calling in.Spring Socials (April to June ) -180 visitorsThese activities help to tackle social isolation and allow people to share their hobbies and skills, meet new people and learn new things.News letter evidencing the work carried out can be found on our website www.traffordveterans.org
The Company stakeholders are armed forces veterans, emergency services personnel and their families and members of the local community that attend our events and activities. Local businesses that sponsor the events are also stakeholders. We listen to the feedback from stakeholders and act upon their responses as we tailor the activities to suit their needs.We carried out a consultation that was available online and in paper format.
