Additional information
We believe our future will continue to evolve around our pillars in the following ways: - Mindset Development – mind management will continue to be an essential need and we aim to partner with statutory organisations to deliver this. We’re noticing an increase in people wanting to commission our services for their children or for themselves. Financial Literacy – We can see there is a growing appetite for money management and communities are more vocal about their financial struggles and their hopes to be financially free. We can play a role in modelling healthy approaches to income generation, money management and investing sustainably. Employability – we can see communities are increasingly activated to do more and give back. They want valuable and meaningful experiences. We can play a role in designing experiences they value, utilising culture as a hook, with psychologically informed approaches to ensure better outcomes.

MH Portfolio:Sandwell Care Experienced People – We’ve supported the local authority in some mental health wrap around support with a targeted intervention for care experienced people as their needs are distinct. Sandwell Public Health MH Wellbeing Initiative – We worked with various partners to deliver frontline mental health support which resulted in opportunities for targeting Care Experienced People with their MH.To employ something is to make use of it, therefore we believe in twisting the modern application of employability into something existential, therefore we don’t see this as having a job only, but to make use of one’s self. Here are ways we are infusing people into our opportunities.Research:NHS Research Health Inequalities – we helped one NHS Trust utilise podcasts to be able to listen to people’s interpretations of health inequality. The research involved people with various live experiences who shared the various ways they encountered health inequalities. This qualitative analysis went on to help NHS data team to scrutinise their quantitative data and create a stronger understanding of where communities are at in their understanding and literacy of NHS terminology. YEF Local People’s Views – We worked with BVSC and Youth Endowment Fund to deliver some culturally appropriate community engagement with local people in Nort West Birmingham to help address local needs in relations to youth violence. Skills Training:Podcasting Skills – we continue to use modern skills to engage and help people. Wedelivered podcasting skills training to the PCC and Recovery College to help adultsdevelop future ready skills. Content Creation Jobs – We delivered training in social media and content creating to communities on behalf of the NHS, housing association and other pro-bono circumstances.Street Team:Engaging people away from antisocial behaviour has been a strong part of our street team. One project ended with WMCA which was for targeting youth unemployment. This then got commissioned in Walsall to address antisocial behaviours.
Empowering communities to shape their well-being: We prioritize stakeholder consultations to ensure our programs directly address the needs of the people we serve.Through our "Shapers Group" forum, young people who've used our youth mental health program provide real-time feedback, shaping improvements and future program features. Similarly, weekly group sessions for adult wellbeing service users in East England empower them to co-create their support plans and directly influence service development. We regularly convene with commissioners and local decision-makers. This ongoing dialogue helps us identify service gaps and co-develop impactful programs to bridge those gaps.
