NBE FITNESS CIC developed an adaptive wellness teaching methodology to reduce the number of people combating preventable health conditions in the UK. NBE FITNESS CIC's goal is to reach those living with chronic illnesses and disabilities to help them improve their physical & mental wellbeing through holistic, adaptive social activities. These activities held in community spaces, hybrid availability through online stream software and in the outdoors support our community to reduce isolation, one of the most significant contributors to ill health in the UK.NBE FITNESS CIC wants to support the health, sport and art systems by using our adaptive wellness teaching to get people moving, enjoy being creative, and find new activities to boost their overall wellbeing. Our work will help reduce the 1-3 people contacting the health industry for social support through being a service providing health providers can refer to. We will work with sports and arts to bring people into their spaces to raise awareness of accessible activities. Support sports and arts organisations to educate their teams on being adaptive, creating accessible buildings and considering their wellbeing.
