Ngorli CIC has been carrying out after school activities such as arts, drama, music, book clubsand swimming for children ages 6 to 14 years over the years. It has also leased a charity shop.During the financial year 2023 these activities generated the following benefits for thecommunity and its surroundings:Encouraged children to gain more time in exploring their talents in different ways as moreguidance has been provided by our team members.Enabled parents to concentrate on other areas such as work while their children are beingtaken care of during these activities.As Ngorli CIC provides for children from all ethnicity, able as well as disable children, its built in the culture of respect for one another and also help built children’s confidence as they aremixed and created a culture of respect.Ngorli CIC also help built a well meaningful relationships amongst parents and the community.
Ngorli’s stakeholders are the residents, parents, children, Hertfordshire County Council, The Honourable Mayor of Watford.The directors/trustees of Ngorli have lived in this community for many years and has developed the business model on the experience of talking to people within the community and understand their concerns.We regularly consult our stakeholders through meetings or sending out newsletters whenever there are important decisions to be taken that not only affect the business but also the community as a whole.This has helped us to build a more reputable profile as we valued our stakeholders’ input and allows them to create ideas that we take onboard.
