    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

    Turnover is measured at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable, excluding discounts, rebates, value added tax and other sales taxes.

    Tangible fixed assets depreciation policy

    Depreciation is provided at the following annual rates in order to write off each asset over its estimated useful life. Plant and machinery etc - 15% on reducing balance

Company activities and impact

TWG has made steady progress and continues to meet its CICs objectives. It secured sponsorship and funding to deliver a further two community based projects in 2022/2023, 3RD International Women’s day Festival, which was delivered to 250 young women including the development of a four nations IWD partnership with Ireland, Scotland and Wales. 2023 UYA held the largest to date Youth Pride with over 30 organisations involved and 400 young people and families.Alongside this TWG developed the IMD event and held a regional conference at Blackpool FC.TWG attracted a grant from Better Start to develop a Dads co deigned training package and through Right o succe3ed a youth led evaluation of a current Youth Advisors project.TWG changed its name in July 2023 to United Youth Alliance to demonstrate the change in landscape to a more youth and community focus on social Action.

Consultation with stakeholders

TWG/UYA continue to ensure the voice of our community stakeholders are integral to the delivery of project and co creation of new ones.TWG /UYA developed a co designed evaluation of the projects and this supported the rebranding to United Youth Alliance.2023 TWG were recommended for the Queens Award in recognition of their volunteering services.

Directors' remuneration

The total amount paid or receivable by directors in respect of qualifying services was £10,555.
