Company activities and impact

We had received funding from Awards 4 All, where we offered On-line Talk Therapy, Creative Writing Sessions, gave out Activity Packs, held monthly Luncheon Clubs where our participants played games, did workshops, meet new people and enjoyed our nutritional hot meals. This benefited our community by helping them with isolated by getting them out of their homes and meeting and participating with others.We had received funding from Birmingham City Council for Celebrating 75 years of Windrush. We held three different events:- Awards Ceremony - where we celebrated & acknowledged our Elders, we had speeches, poetry and singing and a lovely meal.- Movie Afternoon - we had watched a documentary about the Windrush era, people gave their testimonials and enjoyed Afternoon Tea.- Community Celebrations - the Community enjoyed our free food especially our jerk chicken, jerked in our Caribbean style! Music, dancing, singing, folk singing, Shaved Ice, bouncy castle, face painting, ice-cream and cold drinks.We had received funding from Birmingham City Council - Emergency Food fund. This funding was to assist our Foodbank and feeding the homeless for our Community.We had received donations from the public to also assist our Foodbank and feeding the homeless.

Consultation with stakeholders

Our stakeholders are the people we serve in the Community. They are kept informed of the activities that we run by our WhatsApp groups, word of mouth and the flyers that we produce.
