Puppy Pride runs a free online social network, as well as free online chat facilities, and a store - profit from which is used to sponsor events and keep the social network free.We also directly organise an annual convention on the Pride in London weekend. We help the LGBT+ community by the following:Providing a free-to-use social network, with features designed about privacy for users, and trying to help build connections and provide a sense of communitySending stock to events for them to raffle or give away, encouraging attendance and helping events raise funds for themselves so they can continue to provide a needed safe spaceSending necessary equipment to events to help them operate safely and to ensure the wellbeing of their attendeesHosting blogs and comments, to encourage open discussion and promote strong mental healthUniting segments of the LGBT+ community together to build up support structures and create safe spaces for more vulnerable individualsParticipating, and helping others to organise groups in local and global LGBT+ Pride eventsRunning an annual event on the Pride in London weekend called Pride Unbound*London, to provide those who walk wit us in the parade a safe space to change & store bags for the parade. As well as putting on a weekend of education talks & workshops to promote safety and positive wellbeing. Also during the covid period we ran online social events to keep the community engaged and to help combat the loneliness that isolation causes.
Puppy Pride’s stakeholders are members of the social network and the event organisers that we work with.We regularly ask our most loyal members both what they think of the company's current direction, and what we should do in future. We also receive verbal reports from the events that we sponsor so we hear about current news in the community, how event attendees are reacting to our sponsorship, and what we can do to help further. Our store purchases are tailored to our social network members and sponsored events. We aim to provide options at lower prices than competitors, so that those with less money can still participate safely and feel welcomed.
No remuneration was received
As part of Puppy Pride’s endeavour to assist and grow the global pup play community, we regularly support local and international events with raffle prizes, and giveaways, to help those events raise funds for themselves or good causes.
