Those held under finance leases are depreciated over their estimated useful lives or the lease term, whichever is the shorter. |
The interest element of these obligations is charged to profit or loss over the relevant period. The capital element of the future payments is treated as a liability. |

11. | RELATED PARTY DISCLOSURES |
During the year the company operated an intercompany loan account with the holding company Marshalls Group Developments Ltd. At the year end 30th October 2023, the company was owed by Marshalls Group Developments Ltd £1,823,482 (2022 - £1,885,718). This amount is included in debtors. |
The company also operated intercompany loan accounts with Bowser Supply UK Ltd and Clear Cut Laser Engineering Ltd, related companies by virtue of the fact they are utlimately owned and controlled by company director, Mr R J Marshall. Amounts are included within other debtors at 31st October 2023 - Bowser Supply UK Ltd £NIL (2022 - £153,260) and Clear Cut Laser Engineering Ltd £821,874 (2022 - £376,445). Amounts are included within other creditors at 31st October 2023 - Bowser Supply UK Ltd £268,417 (2022 - £NIL). |
