The company runs a peer led drug and alcohol support service providing advice and support to vulnerable individuals within Coventry and Warwickshire. We offer one to one support, group sessions and telephone support for evenings and weekends. We also offer support to individuals with complex needs to be able to access benefits and housing support, as well as peer led support for any substance misuse issues. We work closely with other organizations within the area to help clients to navigate what can sometimes be difficult support network and help organizations to understand the needs of the client group, which in turn helps them to provide a better service to individuals with multiple complex needs. In the year 2022/2023 we reached over 96 unique individuals and advocated and supported them to gain improvements to their current lifestyles. We run a drop in service 2 days a week, which sees an average attendance of 20-30 individuals each day. Working closely with the local police partnership team and the salvation army we helped to develop and grow the Steps for Change project which is a Multi agency drop in service providing support to the whole of Coventry on a wide range of issues, including supporting repeat offenders of inquisitive crime's to help address the issues leading to criminal behavior.
Consultation of our activities is carried out by informal means by consultation of our client base of activities and interests that they would be interested in us helping them to carry out. We provide an interactive social media presence, and consult our audience of upcoming events and actively encourage feedback. We also keep up to date with local trends and information to make sure that our service is fit for purpose and is providing clients with the service they need.
