Balance sheet statements

For the year ending 31 October 2023 the company was entitled to exemption under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Financial Reporting Standard 101

    Tangible fixed assets depreciation policy

    Tangible Assets are depreciated by 20% per annum reducing balance method to reflect a 5 year lifespan.

Company activities and impact

We have continued to provide Cookery and nutrition classes for 16 to 25 year olds who are suffering with their mental health. We have had separate classes for children from 11 to 15 year olds to encourage healthy eating before they reach adulthood.Our cookery classes continue to be Vegan and using fresh produce, encouraging a healthy lifestyle and proving to be beneficial to our customers' wellbeing.We have provided Health and Safety and other catering courses to encourage young people in the area to have the confidence to go into this field of workV Hub has benefitted the local community by encouraging healthy eating and enjoying a varied Vegan diet and having a space where they can develop relationships with like minded people.

Consultation with stakeholders

Our stakeholders include young people in the area who are looking to improve their mental health through healthy diet and enjoyment of cooking, feel more confident to get into the workplace and form relationships with like minded people.We continually monitor the successes of our aims by form of feed back forms at the end of sessions and regular discussions with customers and staff.

Directors' remuneration

The total amount paid to directors in respect of qualifying services was £6,600.There was no other transactions or arrangements in connection with the remuneration of directors, or compensation for director’s loss of office, which require to be disclosed.
