Company activities and impact

At Red Card Gambling support Project, we are dedicated and passionate about reducing the number of people that fall victim to this devastating and destructive addiction, by raising awareness of the risks attached, and the devastating impact it can have on the gambler, family, friends, and the wider community.Red Card delivers their projects on gambling awareness to various organisations, including, school, colleges, charities, youth projects and others. In April 2022, Red Card secured three-year funding from THE NATIONAL LOTTERY COMMUNITY FUND (reaching communities grant), and this will hopefully continue after 2025 for a further 3 or 5 years. Thereafter, we hope to be granted further funding to continue the valuable work we do within communities in England. Additional funding of £124,594 was received in January 2023 from Greentube Arlerney (gambling operator), for the delivery of the first NON-LEAGUE FOOTBALL GAMBLING AWARENESS PROJECT ever delivered in England, and there were fees and sponsorship donations received throughout the year. All of Red Card's funds are utilised, focusing on delivery training courses both online and in-person, educating people about gambling addiction and it's negative consequences. Red Card continues to deliver educational workshops, particularly to young people, and our lottery funding helps us to educate our youth and address early intervention which is key to reducing gambling harms in the UK.We hope to secure further funding from other sources in 2024, so that we can reach a more wider target audience. Therefore educating more people about gambling and gaming related harms.Tony KellyFounder
