Company activities and impactPander Media CIC specializes in media development primarily for young adults, males, and females. This project aims to deliver a series of media activities including workshops that support, encourage, motivate, and inspire a new generation of young people, help to build career paths and transition into adult life. This project primarily focuses on the minority youths, especially those that are facing multiple challenges in life as well as those who are unable to see their future positively. The project has delivered a range of activities that will make a difference in transforming the lives of these young people by providing a range of media skills, building hope and new career goals. The project took on 7th June 2023 where a major workshop was held for 30 participants. This has been followed by series of events and lectures for many participants. There are currently about 50 registered participants on the programme. There have been inspirational and motivational discussions, workshops to cover Podcasting, content creation, storytelling, Video and Photo editing. The project has provided young people with new opportunities to participate in developing quality content, engaging diverse audiences, such as unserved and underserved. The training in media skills and knowledge will create the opportunity to build long term careers for the young ones. The project activities will benefit others that are looking to serve as volunteers, as mentors, and inspiration support to the participants. The project has also helped to build strong relationships among participants and within their communities through media, allowing them to take lead in building their careers, contribute to community growth, and enable young people to work together cohesively, to debate, shape and build media contents that tell relevant stories. The participants have also built confidence, well-motivated, and have gained a sense of belonging.
