During the year Calder Community Squash has delivered squash sessions to minority groups in Calderdale, both at the Old Crossleyans Sqaush Club and at venues across the borough. These groups are free at the point of use although attendees can choose to make a donation to CCS if they wish. Groups have included a men's wellbeing group, school holiday clubs in disadvantaged areas, girl's only squash and squash from the mosque. These groups have encouraged people to engage in sport who would not otherwise have done so and have improved well-being. Some of the attendees including BAME women have gone on to complete training to become squash coaches themselves.Secondly CCS has been involved at a national level with England Squash and IMAS (International Mixed Ability Sports) to help develop and promote the CCS model of inclusivesquash for all.
