Basis of preparing the financial statements |
Turnover |
Turnover is measured at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable, excluding discounts, rebates, value added tax and other sales taxes. |
Investment property |
All investment properties are carried at fair value determined annually and derived from the current market rents and investment property yields for comparable real estate, adjusted if necessary for any difference in the nature, location or condition of the specific asset. No depreciation is provided for. Changes in fair value are recognised in the profit and loss account. |
The directors have also made key assumptions in the determination of the fair value of the investment properties in respect of the state of the property market in the location here the property is situated and in respect of reasonable fair value estimates of the asset. |
Going concern disclosure |
The directors have not identified any material uncertainties relating to events or conditions that may cast significant doubt about the company's ability to continue as a going concern. |
Tangible assets |
Tangible fixed assets are measured at cost less accumulated depreciation and any accumulated impairment losses. Depreciation is provided at rates calculated to write off the cost of the fixed assets, less their estimated residual value, over their useful lives on the following bases: |
