Company activities and impact

The Woodland Presents CIC has developed its initiatives to enhance engagement and integration with local and regional community members within woodlands, while nurturing the woodland ecosystem.This year, our activities have included:- Strengthening our health and wellbeing project, ‘Woods for Wellness’, which offers free and donation-based woodland wellness services to community members.- Continuing our Woods for Wellness partnership programme, providing holistic and therapeutic care services to local residents. This includes regular Arts Therapy sessions for NHS patients with acute mental health conditions, Community Wellbeing Circles, Ecotherapy and Nature Connection workshops, Council and Listening Circles, Women’s and Men’s Groups, Traditional Craft for Wellness, and Mental Health Drop-In Services.- Establishing our community woodland venue to enhance accessibility for marginalised disabled community members, fostering greater local integration and cohesion.- Launching a traditional craftsmanship and woodworking course for local people.- Our annual volunteer tree planting group has successfully planted and managed over 5,000 native tree species locally.

Consultation with stakeholders

The company’s stakeholders include local residents, project users and beneficiaries, partnership organisations, college and university students, and members of the forestry and woodworking community.We seek feedback from all users and bookers at our community woodland venue and hold steering groups with local community members. Additionally, we host an annual public meeting to gather constructive feedback on our projects and initiatives.

There were no other transactions or arrangements in connection with the remuneration of directors, or compensation for director’s loss of office, which require to be disclosed.
