The Hope Revolution CIC trades under the name "Give Today", running an online donation platform where donation shops are created and hosted for charitable organisations across the UK. These shops are provided free of charge, providing each organisation with their own platform for supporters to directly purchase the items that organisation needs.Within the financial year 2022/2023, The Hope Revolution benefited the community in the following ways:- Providing online shops for over 100 charitable organisations, including those in the homelessness sector and foodbanks, amongst others.- Developing the platform to improve ease of use for organisations to update their current requirements easily and quickly.- Generating nearly 1,100 individual donation orders, with an average order value of £46.07- Sourcing products to send to the organisations from high-street brands, or reputable local wholesalers.- Generation of customised social media content for each of the charitable partners, free of charge, to enable them to effectively promote their donation shop.
The company's stakeholders are the charitable organisations who are signed up for a donation shop on the website. The Hope Revolution CIC remains in regular contact with it's charitable organisations, holding regular online meetings with and sending feedback emails to key members of staff in order to gain feedback on the website and service. Within the financial year 2022/2023, The Hope Revolution, as a result of these consultations, invested in the platform, developing the ability for charities to embed their online shops directly on their own websites.In addition, The Hope Revolution worked to reduce the time between donation and delivery, delivering over 85% of donations within 1 working week.
