The £500 investment we have is long term with Power For Good Co Op that fits solar panels on the roofs of Churches and other places of worship, schools and sports/community halls. I do not think we can sell the bonds and have no desire to do so anyway.

Incredible Surplus CIC is a Community Interest Company limited by guarantee, incorporated in England. The company has a socialmission to prevent food and other useful items from ending up in landfill by intercepting them and redistributing them to individuals and organisations in our community. We use any organic material that is unfit for consumption to make compost in order to grow fruit and vegetables at our various allotments and growing sites. This food is also shared with our volunteers and our network of partner organisations and with individuals and families. We run regular distribution sessions across Birmingham, the Black Country and Solihull every week. We aim to educate the local community about food waste and encourage recycling and reuse and resilience wherever possible. The company works on a 'pay as you feel basis', so customers can donate their time, skills or money in return for what they receive so no one is excluded.
Incredible Surplus CIC partners with a wide variety of groups, organisations and individuals across Birmingham, the Black Country and Solihull. We supply food and other essential items to individuals and households, school groups, colleges, Churches and other faith organisations, elders groups and sports clubs; these are our customers. We are in constant communication with all of our customers and our suppliers as what we collect or are given as donations varies each week. Our customers' needs vary too so it is an ever evolving process. Most of our contact with our customers is in person but we also use our website and social media, radio (national and local) and press to publicize our work and to inform people about our activities. We are a mostly volunteer run organisation and our volunteers come from the community we serve, they help shape how we work and provide energy and ideas. We are also part of the Food Justice Network which is a Birmingham based organisation aiming to prevent food poverty in the city. It is made up of over 200 individuals, charities, community groups and public sector teams who share ideas and support initiatives to provide a healthier and fairer food system in Birmingham.
