Quench Gallery is and artists-led gallery and workshop space in Margate. We aim to bring a diverse range of local and worldwide talent to Margate. This year our education programme for young people we focused on outreach with local SEN schools and community groups making sure the programme was accessible to the people that needed it most. Our exhibition programme extended to events that were free and low cost for local residents and we started to build more video content online to reach our increasingly worldwide audience in an accessible way. We offer school and university tours by appointment and this has been increasingly popular. Footfall also increased for the exhibition programme, private views and events.
Our stakeholders include exhibiting artists, funders, participants, local schools and youth cubs and our local community who we are in regular contact with. Our social media reach has doubled and we have opportunities to feedback at exhibitions, workshops and online to make sure we are in line with our communities needs and can adapt and improve the delivery of our programme and core educational offering.
