During the year we have continued to provide a vital service to people from Knowsley and surrounding areas. The women’s support group enjoyed morning yoga sessions and weekend retreats to Pendle Hill. We also continued to run our women’s boxing circuit classes. Days out for our summer camp and kids club have included visits to New Brighton and Christmas pantos. The walk and talk outdoor therapy sessions continued to be a success and more difficult hikes were accomplished by the men’s group. The men’s group were invited to football matches by Abby Group Ltd which gave them an opportunity to network with other community groups. We also ran quiz nights and took a trip to the dark matter mystery museum to undertake their educational 5 ways to wellbeing activities. Summer programmes where ran for local school age children where activities and healthy meals where provided. The parent and child group has continued to be a great success and source of support to local mums. The children have also enjoyed playing together and building relationships. Events that have taken place over the past twelve months have included Halloween arts and crafts, Santa visits and Christmas movie evenings.
