Running Hardknox Boxing CIC has allowed us to have a significant impact on the local community. Hardknox Boxing CIC's activities have benefited the community during the financial year by:1. Health and Well-beingProviding a space for individuals to improve their physical fitness, helping to reduce health issues such as obesity, cardiovascular diseases, and diabetes.Improving Mental Health: Boxing is known to be a great stress-reliever. By offering regular training sessions, we have helped members of the community manage stress, anxiety, and depression.2. Youth EngagementYouth Programs: We offer specialised programs for young people, which have kept them engaged in positive activities, reducing the likelihood of their involvement in crime and antisocial behaviour.Mentorship: Hardknox Boxing CIC serves as a place where young people can find mentors in coaches and older members, providing guidance and support.3. Social CohesionCommunity Events: We host events such as boxing matches, exhibitions, and social gatherings which foster a sense of community and belonging among members.Inclusive Environment: We promote an inclusive environment, in which we have brought together people from diverse backgrounds, helping to break down social barriers.4.
