Company activities and impact

The company’s activities provide benefits to promote and encourage diversity within the bid and proposal profession. We offer networking opportunities and support for individuals, providing sessions that teach methodologies and offer toolkits to help organizations monitor and embrace diversity within their bid and proposal functions. We host ticketed events for members, where we provide workshops and presentations from industry experts on topics that have been highlighted as key interests for the group, such as personal development, career progression, and tackling inequality and discrimination in the workplace.Research has also shown that there is a lack of young people within our industry, and we utilise the skills and experience of our members to help attract young people to careers within the profession and engage them in our events. We also work in partnership with organisations to address the difficulties and concerns that both men and women face within bid and proposal roles.Our mission is to achieve gender equality in the bidding profession by supporting individuals and organisations to take ownership of their responsibilities and make positive changes. We aim to accomplish this by strengthening our community, sparking real conversation, and taking purposeful action.

Consultation with stakeholders

Women in Bids and Proposals regularly consult with its members and allies through workshops and surveys to understand what is wanted by the industry. As a result, we then provide more of those services such as panel debates, conference speakers and networking events, in order to meet the needs of the group.
