Balance sheet statements

For the year ending 31 December 2023 the company was entitled to exemption under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.

The members have agreed to the preparation of abridged accounts for this accounting period in accordance with Section 444(2A).

These accounts have been prepared in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

The directors have chosen to not file a copy of the company’s profit & loss account.

1. Accounting policies

These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

Other accounting policies

Investments held as fixed assets are stated at historical cost less provision for any impairment. Income from other investments together with any related tax credit is recognized in the profit and loss account in the financial period which it is receivable.Trade and other creditors are initially recognized at fair value and thereafter stated at amortised cost using the effective interest rate method unless the effect of discounting would be immaterial in which case they are stated at cost.Current tax represents the amount expected to be paid or recovered in respect of taxable profits for the financial period and is calculated using the tax rates and laws that have been enacted of sustainability enacted at the Balance Sheet date.In accordance with FRS102, assets are assessed annually for impairment indicators. Where indicators are identified an assessment for impairment is undertaken comparing the assets carrying amount to its recoverable amount. Where the carrying amount of an asset is deemed to exceed its recoverable amount, the asset is written down to its recoverable amount. The resulting impairment loss is recognised as expenditure in the profit and loss account.
