COMMUNITY INTEREST ANNUAL REPORT

NORTH EAST DANCE COMMUNITY INTEREST COMPANY

Company Number: 06418445 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 30 November 2023

Company activities and impact

During the year the company has continued to deliver dance and fitness programs as a means of tackling health and social issues. We have again worked with local authorities and local health groups to identify areas of need, and to then deliver programs and sessions to targeted groups and individuals to meet those needs. Our programs seek to address both physical and mental health issues, as well as seeking to improve self esteem and self confidence. We deliver our programs across the North East of England to community groups and to schools, where we hope to develop a positive attitude to exercise and learning. This in turn we hope will help unlock potential and future development.

Consultation with stakeholders

Our primary stakeholders are community groups, local authorities, public sector agencies and local community members. At all sessions feedback is encouraged and this is then used to help tailor future programs and activities. This continual use of feedback assists in preparing and tailoring future delivery to ensure that this meets the needs of participants.
