AQUANIMITY CIC

Directors' report period ended 31 October 2023

The directors present their report with the financial statements of the company for the period ended 31 October 2023

Principal activities of the company

The principal activity of AQUANIMITY CIC during the financial year was the successful execution of this community-focused project to increase access to clean water in Pemba, Zanzibar. It led in constructing a new well that availed fresh, clean, and free water to the local community. This has been a very valuable gesture to the community, since the needs for water, such as livestock, farming, and domestic use, are very critical in a region characterized by scanty or highly expensively sold water. This was the key project by the company during the financial year. The well construction project was part of a bigger effort, an ongoing initiative in support of underprivileged communities across Zanzibar. AQUANIMITY CIC retains commitment to this very important cause and is planning further water wells in areas where access to water is most difficult.

Company activities and impact

Our company gave back to the community by constructing a new well that provided access to fresh, clean, and free water during the financial year. The well has been of immense impact to the community in supporting their livestock, farming activities, as well as daily needs. Previously, challenges have been noted in accessing water, whereby residents either struggle to get it or pay for it. In this hapless area, water was so elusive; the well we built improved lively hood in the community.
