This year we have been able to support smaller groups not just with our time but resources such as food and toiletries. For Christmas 2023 we were able to give over 50 filled bags to the homeless and to a women's refuge.
We were able to speak to those we help at the foodbank and in the community as to what the most pressing needs are during winter and summer as those two seasons require different services to some degree. For example during winter they are less likely to spend long at the booth as it's cold . They'd like to pick up the products and food and leave whereas in summer they will spend more time talk so we would need to provide more food and refreshments then.
