The accounts have been prepared and delivered in accordance with the special provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime. The profit and loss account has not been delivered to the Registrar of Companies.

1 Accounting policies
Basis of preparation
The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with FRS 102, The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (as applied to small entities by section 1A of the standard).
2 Transactions with Directors of Alexandra Apartments Management Company Limited
During the year, Miss R Bains provided management services for the property, for which she was paid £6,240. These amounts are included as part of the relevant costs in the Profit and Loss account.
3 Cash at Bank
Held in trusts at Natwest Bank Plc, Chorlton Branch - under the title "The Members Trading T/A Alexandra Apartments Management Company Limited".

6 Refunds to Leaseholders
Before the beginning of each year, an estimate is prepared detailing what amounts we consider will be needed to provide the services to Alexandra Apartments. Service charge demands to Leaseholders are prepared on the basis of this estimate. Shortly after the end of the year, an account of what has actually been spent and set aside for reserves is produced. At the end of 2023 this account shows we have spent £2,280 less than that estimated, resulting in a surplus on the account to be refunded to Leaseholders.
