Principal activities of the company

The principal activities of Pinball Pirates CIC during the year were dedicated to supporting families in financial difficulty and children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) through unique community-focused services. Our mission is to provide essential support and education around haircare, while also fostering a sense of dignity and well-being within our community. To achieve this, the company engaged in the following key activities:1. Free Haircuts for Families and Children with SEND: Pinball Pirates CIC provided free haircuts to families struggling financially and children with SEND. These services were offered in a supportive and inclusive environment, ensuring that all participants felt comfortable and respected. This initiative aimed to alleviate some of the financial burden on families while boosting the confidence and self-esteem of the children.2. Distribution of Haircare Bags: We assembled and distributed haircare bags to those in need within our community. These bags included essential haircare products and tools, tailored to meet the needs of different hair types. The goal was to ensure that everyone, regardless of their financial situation, had access to the basic necessities required to maintain their personal hygiene and grooming.3. Educational Outreach in Schools: Pinball Pirates CIC worked closely with local schools to promote haircare education. We provided books and materials on proper haircare practices to help children learn about the importance of maintaining healthy hair. This initiative also included talks and workshops aimed at teaching students how to care for their hair, which is particularly important for children with specific haircare needs.4. Community Engagement and Support: In addition to our primary activities, Pinball Pirates CIC engaged with the local community through various events and partnerships. By working with local organisations and schools, we were able to expand our reach and offer our services to more families and children in need.Throughout the year, Pinball Pirates CIC remained committed to making a positive impact on the lives of those in our community. By providing these essential services and educational resources, we aimed to support the well-being of families and children, particularly those facing financial difficulties and special challenges.
