REPORT OF THE DIRECTORS

The directors present their report with the financial statements of the company for the year ended 31 December 2023.

REVIEW OF BUSINESS
The company has been unable to carryout a development during this financial period following a dispute concerning access to their proposed development site.

In December 2023 the company recovered the cost of the development land together with some of their legal and associated purchase costs and these are included in other income.

The company are in the process of further litigation in relation to a claim for loss of earnings as a result connected to the previous litigation.

The Directors believe, based on Counsels opinion, that their claim will be successful.

DIVIDENDS
No dividends will be distributed for the year ended 31 December 2023.

1. STATUTORY INFORMATION

2. ACCOUNTING POLICIES

Basis of preparing the financial statements
These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with Financial Reporting Standard 102 "The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland" including the provisions of Section 1A "Small Entities" and the Companies Act 2006. The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention.

Tangible fixed assets
Depreciation is provided at the following annual rates in order to write off each asset over its estimated useful life.
Plant and machinery - 25% on reducing balance
Office equipment - 25% on reducing balance

Stocks
Stocks are valued at the lower of cost and net realisable value, after making due allowance for obsolete and slow moving items.
