Year Ending: 30 November 2023

Company activities and impact

Green Futures Arran is a social enterprise that aims to improve the employment skills and life chances of young people aged 16-24 who face barriers to work across Arran and North Ayr-shire. Our aim has always been to target and support those who leave school with poor attainment, low aspiration and who struggle to find work, training or education because of com-plex barriers and personal issues Throughout the accounts period there has been zero trading recorded. The Directors decided to keep the business open at the end of the last reporting period with a view to exploring new funding opportunities to trade in North Ayrshire. This has not progressed as expected. Therefore, the Directors have now taken the decision to close the business before the end of 2024. Directors will now liaise with our accountants to wind up this business.
