The directors and members have lived in the community for a number of years and developed the business model for the service based on our experience as a healthcare professional working in the community and talking to other residents. We hold meetings with groups and organisations asking everyone about their health needs to identify barriers. This has helped us to build a profile of local VCSFE’s and to better understand what community members needs and what we can do to meet these needs effectively.
