Our recently established Community Interest Company has undertaken comprehensive planning to deliver future support to adults with learning needs in the community. We have held detailed planning and strategy meetings, meticulously updating all necessary governance documents and crafting a robust governance framework to steer our endeavours effectively. To better comprehend the community demographics and needs, we actively volunteered in Bolton, engaging directly with the community. This immersive experience has informed our strategies and program development. Our envisioned activities encompass a spectrum of support, including providing accommodation and focusing on crucial skills enhancement. We plan to offer assistance in job searching, apprentice applications, CV writing, and interview skills. Additionally, our programs will encompass ICT and coding skills training to boost employability and empowerment. Moreover, we are dedicated to providing mentorship and training in IT, numeracy, and literacy, aiming to enhance the overall skills and capabilities of the adults we aim to support. Through these meticulously planned initiatives, we aspire to make a significant and positive difference in the lives of adults with learning needs, fostering growth and development within the community.
