Hearts Creative Project CIC is a non-profit organisation dedicated to infusing creativity into the heart of society. We deliver art and creative craft projects in deprived areas, working with some of the most vulnerable people. We provide vital support to families, children, young and older people, carers through creative activities that inspire, engage, educate, as well as helping all involved to develop life/art skills and confidence, creating a more inclusive, equitable, and sustainable future.
HeArts Creative Projects provides guided consultations and collaborates with local communities and stakeholders to identify and address community challenges through tailored creative programmes that seek creative solutions. Our consultations over the last year were mainly targeting an older population within the Pennywell area in Sunderland. Consultations were delivered in collaboration with Pennywell Community Centre. We also consulted charities and organisations working with carers, HOPS in Houghton le Spring, Parent Carers organisation in Sunderland and charity More Than Grandparents.
