The Oxford Art Society CIC exists to encourage and promote the practice of the Fine Arts by artists living within a 30 mile radius of Oxford. It arranges two exhibitions a year: the Members' Exhibition held in the spring and the Open Exhibition held in the late summer/autumn. Members are invited to the private views of these exhibitions and are encouraged to become involved with exhibition organisation. There is an annual New Members' tea party and a Members' summer party. It is ran by a committee which meets six times a year.
The Oxford Art Society CIC communicates with its members through two newsletters a year and through the OAS website which is regularly updated.
