THIS YEAR WE HAVE PROVIDED FREE BOXING TO YOUNG PEOPLE WITHIN THE TEWKESBURY AREA, FREE OF CHARGE. THIS HAS ALSO INCLUDED FUNIDNG TRIPS UP AND DOWN THE COUNTRY FOR OUR YOUNG PEOPLE TO COMPETE AND TO TRAIN IN OTHER TOWNS/CITIES AT OTHER BOXING CLUBS. WE HAVE ALSO FUNDED FURTHER EQUIPMENT WITHIN THE ESTABLISHMENT, WHICH HELPS THE YOUNG PEOPLE WITH THEIR TRAINING. SINCE THE BOXING CLEVER PROGRAMME HAS BEGAN, THERE HAS BEEN A REDUCTION IN LOCAL ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR BY A STAGGERING 73%. WE HAVE ALSO PUT 40 YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGH AN ACCREDITED SPORTS QUALIFCATION (GB BOXING AWARDS).BOXING CLEVER HAS A AVERAGE OF 47 YOUNG PEOPLE ATTEND EACH EVENING. WE OPERATE 2 EVENINGS A WEEK NOW AND CURRENTLY SIT AT THE BIGGEST OR ONE OF THE BIGGEST YOUTH PROVISIONS WITHIN THE TOWN.
THE LOCAL CO-OP SUPERMARKET ARE OUR BIGGEST STAKEHOLDERS WHO HAVE TOLD US ON A REGULAR BASIS THAT THEY HAVE SEEN A HUGE REDUCTION IN ANTI SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR WITHIN THEIR STORE, WHICH IS SITUATED 0.5 MILES AWAY FROM THE BOXING CLEVER HQ. THE LOCAL PRIMARY SCHOOLS HAVE ALSO COMMUNICATED WITH MYSELF THAT THE PROGRAMME HAS AND IS CONTINUING TO HAVE A POSITIVE IMPCAT ON THEIR YOUNG PEOPLE, THROUGH THE USE OF POSITIVE ROLE MODELS AT ADAM HARPER BOXING CLEVER AND THE AVAILABILITY TO PARTICIPATE IN FREE SPORTS, AND FEEL PART OF A SPORTS TEAM.
ADAM HARPER RECEIVED £1600 COACHING FEES WHICH ALLOWED THE YOUNG PEOPLE TO TRAIN AND ATTEND FREE BOXING SESSIONS. MOLLY HARPER RECEIVED £550 FOR WAGES SURROUNDING THE ADMIN WORK THAT WAS UNDERTAKEN AROUND ALL OF THE PROJECTS FROM ADAM HARPER BOXING CLEVER CIC. THIS INCLUDES REGISTRATIONS/REGISTERS/ADMINISTRATION OF THE GB BOXING AWARDS FOR THE YOUNG PEOPLE AND FILLING OUT CERTIFICATES ETC/GENERAL ADMIN WORK.
