1 Accounting policies
Basis of preparation
The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with FRS 102, The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (as applied to small entities by section 1A of the standard).
Turnover
Turnover represents the amount receivable from the lessees of Warwick Lodge in respect of levies charges to recover expenses and ground rent. It has been derived from its principal activity wholly undertaken in the UK.
2 Taxation
The company operates on a mutual basis and is only liable to taxation upon interest received gross. A five year dispensation has been granted from the Revenue, therfore only material amounts of interest require declaration. No tax liability arises for the year.
