Principal activities of the company

Women Talk see CIC have provided soft skills workshop and sessions plans and events this has helped increase confidence self-esteem and confidence for individuals to apply for work further training or start a business. We have received accolades and awards for our award-winning career development programs which has helped over 500 individuals increase their confidence over an 8 year period. We have had participants continued to have access to ongoing one to one coaching support individual advice and guidance to support them on their personal development journey and conducted skills analysis. Participants have gained core competency such as decision making, action planning, communication, skills negotiation skills self-management. Portfolio building, delegation skills confidence building, assertiveness, self-esteem, leadership skills and writing skills. These skills have helped employers fill gaps and allowed the participants to secure or get closer to achieving their career goals or the job market.

We have received accolades and awards for our award-winning career development programs which has helped over 500 individuals increase their confidence over an 8 year period.We have had 10 participants continued to have access to ongoing one to one support individual advice and guidance to support them on their personal development journey and conducted skills analysis. Participants have gained core competency such as decision making, action planning, communication, skills negotiation skills self-management.Portfolio building, delegation skills confidence building, assertiveness, self-esteem, leadership skills and writing skills. These skills have helped employers fill gaps and allowed the participants to secure or get closer to achieving their career goals or the job market.

Consultation with stakeholders

Women Talk have local and international community groups who are stakeholders. Talks are given to clients whom they have identified as being furthest away from the job sector. Organizing MeetUps for participants to come along and know more about the projects as well as introduce them to guest speakers. Past reports related to participants development i.e. confidence building to encourage referrals. We have local groups and organisations participating online and where feasible face to face events. We hold taster sessions to encourage participants to sign up to the full programs promoting programs on websites and newsletters, community groups via talks presentations, leaflets and posters displayed.Flyers printed and distributed and sent out to Women Talk database of over 1600 people. We organize visits to other community groups to give presentations about the course, taking questions and giving answers about the program from input to delivery methods, our success rates and outcomes of the programs. We send direct emails to local organization businesses, to promote workshops to unemployed clients.
