Our Power Hub CIC (OPH) has expanded its services from North Kensington to the wider Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, as well as neighboring areas, enhancing community life through diverse programs in health, wellbeing, arts, technology, and employment. We offer tailored employment training and job placement services, particularly for young people, to help them secure meaningful careers. Our private gym provides fitness classes that cater to the unique needs of our diverse community, contributing to overall wellness.Additionally, OPH promotes cultural enrichment through arts and music programs and advances digital literacy via technology training. Our efforts have positively impacted over 200 community members through activities that reduce stress, build confidence, and foster connections. Our Young Apprentice Program successfully engaged 30 young people, providing essential skills and job placement support, while our fitness classes, day trips, and arts workshops have significantly improved participants' physical and mental health.Furthermore, our Music to Heal workshops and technology training programs have empowered individuals with creative and digital skills. We also contributed to humanitarian efforts by coordinating fundraising and providing on-the-ground support in disaster-stricken areas, reinforcing our commitment to global solidarity and community impact.
Our Power Hub CIC (OPH) uses various communication methods to engage with stakeholders, including in-person interactions, emails, meetings, and phone calls. OPH delivers workshops and activities like art, tech, and fitness training for bereaved, survivors, and residents (BSRs), based on community feedback. The Young People’s Fund activities, such as "Music to Heal," are implemented per grant applications. Collaborations with RBKC, the Dedicated Service, and the Grenfell Foundation focus on developing inclusive, peer-led models and ensuring community well-being. OPH also maintains a close relationship with the NHS to support recovery efforts and the health of attendees during events and workshops.
