Accountants' report to the director of House Rescue Electrical Ltd (the company)
These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with our terms of engagement and in order to assist you to fulfil your duties under the Companies Acts that relate to preparing the financial statements of the company for the year ended 30 November 2023.
We have prepared these financial statements based on the accounting records, information and explanations provided by you. We do not express any opinion on the financial statements.
On the balance sheet you have acknowledged your duties under the prevailing Companies Acts to ensure that the company keeps adequate accounting records and prepares financial statements that give "a true and fair view".
You have determined that the company is exempt from the statutory requirement for an audit for the year ended 30 November 2023. Therefore, the financial statements are unaudited.
The financial statements are provided exclusively to the director for the limited purpose mentioned above, and may not be used or relied upon for any other purpose or by any other person, and we shall not be liable for any other usage or reliance.

NOTES TO THE ACCOUNTS
1 Statutory information
House Rescue Electrical Ltd is a private company, limited by shares, registered in England and Wales, registration number 13047205. The registered office is 14 ASPECT HOUSE 19 SHELBURNE ROAD, LONDON, N7 6DY, ENGLAND.
2 Director's advances, credit and guarantees
At the balance sheet date, the company owed £199 to the director Jack Clarke, as shown in the director’s loan account. The loan is unsecured and has no fixed repayment terms or interest rates.
3 Guarantees and other financial commitments
1. Bad debts During the year ended 30 November 2022, the company incurred an expense of £5,400 for advertising services that were contracted but not fulfilled by the supplier. This amount was recorded as "Other Debtors" on the balance sheet for that year, pending resolution of the dispute. Given the ongoing uncertainty and the advice received, the company has decided to write off the £5,400 in the financial statements for the year ending 30 November 2023, as the amount is no longer considered recoverable. 2. Closing stock The company operates on a "just-in-time" inventory basis, purchasing materials specifically for each job as required. As a result, the directors have confirmed that there is no closing stock at the year-end. 3. Pension contributions During the financial year, the company made a pension contribution of £40,000 to a registered pension scheme. The director has confirmed this contribution is eligible for corporation tax relief and has been accounted for as an expense in the profit and loss account. The contribution was made to a Self-Invested Personal Pension (SIPP) and is in line with the company’s pension policy. The scheme is registered with HMRC.
4 Average number of employees
During the year the average number of employees was 2 (2022: 1).

For the year ending 30 November 2023 the company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies. The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.
The director acknowledges his responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.
These accounts have been prepared in accordance with the micro-entity provisions of the Companies Act 2006 and FRS 105, The Financial Reporting Standard applicable to the Micro-entities Regime. The accounts have been delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime. The profit and loss account has not been delivered to the Registrar of Companies.
