Over the past financial year, Rise & Shine Lancashire C.I.C. has played a vital role in supporting the mental well-being of individuals in our community. Our peer support groups have provided a safe and non-judgmental space for members to openly discuss their struggles, reducing feelings of isolation and promoting mental health recovery.Through consistent weekly meetings at Ewood Park and Darwen Health Centre, we have facilitated connections among community members, fostering a sense of belonging and mutual support. The feedback from participants has been overwhelmingly positive, with many highlighting the benefits of having a reliable space to share experiences and receive support.Additionally, we’ve raised awareness about mental health issues within the community, encouraging more people to seek help and reduce the stigma surrounding mental health. Our efforts have also included offering practical advice, resources, and follow-up support, further contributing to the well-being of our participants.Our commitment to confidentiality and creating a welcoming environment has empowered individuals to take the first step towards recovery. By helping people connect and grow together, Rise & Shine Lancashire C.I.C. has strengthened the community’s resilience and well-being.
