The directors present their report with the financial statements of the company for the period ended 31 December 2023

Principal activities of the company

The Highrise Project is a community interest company created to work with marginalised communities through the arts. These include residents of social housing, migrant communities, unemployed people and those living with mental and physical health issues. These activities will support individuals to develop new and existing skills and to give people a voice to affect change in their local area. The Highrise Project has worked with a range of organisations over the year to fulfil these goals.MAFWA, East Leeds Project and Armley Community Hub.Working with a range of third sector organisations and businesses across Leeds. Projects have worked with a range of residents across Leeds through artistic workshops to develop digital literacy skills, conversations around individual journeys, development of creative spaces, living in social housing and the development of community art spaces for creative individuals in and around Armley

Consultation with stakeholders

Our Stakeholders are the residents of areas we provide workshops and the particpants of workshops and coproducers of the Collective spac in Armley. As well as the participants we work with we ask for feedback on each of the workshops we rund and include particpant in changes we make in the space. We provide mentoring opportunities for particpants and have designed digital workshops based on participants feedback.
