Introduction This report has been produced to satisfy the requirements of the CIC34 Community Interest Report. It sets out our activities and our achievements during 2022 -2023 and how these benefitted the stakeholders that we serve. Our achievements against our 2022-2023 objectives 1. To deliver Leadership Summit and one course/activity every two months a. UK Deaf Leadership Summit – This year, we have delivered four 1-hour webinars with a total of 240 people attending. This year our speakers were from the UK, USA and Sweden, all our webinars are recorded and available on our website and you tube This year our recording have attracted 656 viewings and 2,026 in total to date. b. We delivered 22 workshops for UK Deaf Sport, total 50 hours and 214 participants c. Four One-to-one mentoring sessions benefiting two individual clients focusing on their workplace professional development. d. We have facilitated two strategic away days for two deaf organizations to enable them to review and develop their strategies. e. Delivered Effective Communications training for British Gymnastics 40 people f. Middle management training for one deaf organization 2 days for 5 staff g. Effective communications workshops for the ECB 4 days (70 people) 2. Develop a strong UK network to provide experiential learning and support for our strategic plans We have maintained our MoU with Action Deafness, agreed to work on mutually beneficial training programme for both our organizations and the wider community. For now, we are continuing the UK Deaf Leadership Summit into 2023 We have licenses to deliver workshops and training for the following organizations: Sport Structures – delivering Club matters workshops on behalf of the Sport England capacity-building programme UK Coaching – Licensed to deliver some of the CPD workshops for sports coaches and volunteers. Our plan is to recruit more tutors to widen the range of workshops available to the deaf and hearing sports workforce. Adair Leadership Ltd – Licensed to deliver Team leadership training and plans in place to be accredited for Operational, Strategic leadership training and coaching. 3. Directors' monthly meetings to monitor our strategy. Our directors have met quarterly throughout the year, including one away day for strategic planning.
When developing our training programmes, we carry out training needs analysis with the stakeholder organisations to determine how best to meet their needs. At the end of each training session, our delegates are asked to complete a feedback form, and this informs us and our stakeholder organisations as to the outcomes. We also share data with organisations where we are licensed to deliver their training, this informs them of the number of people who have completed training and enables the necessary certification to be awarded where appropriate. We have also attended their tutor training and update sessions and also participated in a major review exercise with Sports Structures/ Sport England along with other delivery organisations. As a result, we are now all delivering an updated version of the Club Matters training programme.
