  • 1. Accounting policies

    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

    Turnover comprises the invoiced value of goods and services supplied by the company, net of Value Added Tax and trade discounts.

    Other accounting policies

    Taxation represents the sum of tax currently payable and deferred tax. Tax is recognised in the statement of income, except to the extent that it relates to items recognised in other comprehensive income or directly in capital and reserves. The company’s liability for current tax is calculated using the tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted at the reporting date. Current and deferred tax assets and liabilities are not discounted

Vitality Homes is an abstinence supported housing project based in Liverpool, helping people with substance misuse problems. We pride ourselves on our holistic approach, working to get the best possible outcomes for our residents. Our Vision is to ensure every individual we help is instilled with values of a free and fair society, where they are equipped to help themselves and are resilient against the challenges they may face. We envisage communities with the individual at the heart of them, helping each other, and empowered and confident to face the challenges facing them today. Our in-house programs help perpetuate a culture of personal resilience and the capacity to self-help.
