Trans Safety Network have engaged in a number of investigations following which we have broken stories on organised hate campaigns targeting the trans community. These include covering glorification of violence by anti-trans groups, on scene coverage of a far right attack on an LGBT event in South East London. We also gathered together a coalition for an open letter uniting trans and disabled human rights groups against efforts to use autism diagnoses to deny access to trans healthcare. Further to this we worked with whistle-blowers to expose harmful anti-trans activist involvement in trainings delivered by the NHS around trans healthcare.
Trans Safety Network have not undertaken a formal consultation with stakeholders. We have engaged in ongoing work engaging formally and informally with community organisations and members of the community directly.
Jess O’Thomson was remunerated £2,880 for their role as Communications Officer.
