    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

    The turnover shown in the profit and loss account represents amounts sold during the year.

    Tangible fixed assets depreciation policy

    All fixed assets are initially recorded at cost. Depreciation is calculated so as to write off the cost of an asset, less its estimated residual value, over the useful economic life of that asset as follows: Motor Vehicles 25% Straight Line

Company activities and impact

The company has continued to benefit the Local Veteran Community by offering a “Safe Space” for veterans, family members, and the general public to socialise and discuss their different backgrounds and experiences. The Veteran Hub has been congratulated by many valued members of the Isle of Wight and South of England communities for its hospitality and availability to those in need during hard times. We offer hot and cold refreshments as well as a place to be open, warm and comfortable.
