NI Off Road CIC is a community interest company set up to address the antI-social behaviour of young people and to engage with authority’s by providing local facilities, training, education and creative diversity programmes through off road motorcycling. The services we supply will change the direction of young people’s lives for the better by using the apparatus of two wheeled motorcycles in a positive way to create distraction, exercise passion and unearth potential in young people. We offer training in a safe and controlled environment catering for novice youth and adult riders. We provide designated areas to practice and train in the proper use of off-road motorcycles through education and tutorial sessions. Our aim is to provide training for novice youth and adult off road riders, we cover safety, bike set up, how to ensure the correct PPE is worn, educate the dangers if bad practice and faulty equipment. By creating this environment this helps reduce the nuisance of illegal riding in public areas, it also mitigates anti-social behaviour benefiting the local communities and reducing police and authorities time having to deal with public order complaints. Also, through education and training we can have our students pass on their knowledge to their peers and this can ultimately save a life and a reduction in crime. Positive peer pressure is a very powerful tool and can be much more effective than professional advice. Therefore, the more we can educate and train the better for all communities.
