These improvements have not only enhanced the aesthetic appeal of the area but have also made the park a hub for outdoor activities, encouraging healthier lifestyles within the community. For example, work parties of 15-20 volunteers cleaning up the park and removing over growth.

Collaboration with Local Authorities: Friends of Thornbury Park CIC maintained close communication with local government officials and departments and maintenance contractors to ensure that all activities and developments were in line with broader community and environmental plans.
