BGM Damery Limited is a private company, limited by shares, registered in England and Wale, registration number 08504041. The address of the registered office is 100 Barbirolli Square, Manchester, M2 3BD. The principal place of business is 22 Ridge Park Bramhall, Cheshire, SK7 2BL. |
2. | ACCOUNTING POLICIES |
Basis of preparing the financial statements |
Going Concern |
The concept of going concern is an underlying assumption in the production of financial statements. As there are considerable net liabilities there is a question mark over going concern. Although there is no formal |
agreement in place the director's have indicated they will continue to provide financial support to the company for at least twelve months from the date these financial statements are approved and authorised for |
issue. |
Related party exemption |
The company has taken advantage of exemption, under the terms of Financial Reporting Standard 102 'The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland', not to disclose related party transactions with wholly owned subsidiaries within the group. |
Turnover |
Turnover is measured at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable, excluding discounts, rebates, value added tax and other sales taxes. |
Turnover represents amounts recognised by the company in respect of goods and services supplied, exclusive of Value Added Tax and trade discounts. Turnover principally consists of property rental income, and are recognised as earned. |
Taxation |
Taxation for the year comprises current and deferred tax. Tax is recognised in the profit and loss account, except to the extent that it relates to items recognised in other comprehensive income or directly in equity. |
Current or deferred taxation assets and liabilities are not discounted. |
Current tax is recognised at the amount of tax payable using the tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the balance sheet date. |
Trade and other debtors/creditors |
Trade and other debtors are recognised initially at transaction price less attributable transaction costs. Trade and other creditors are recognised initially at transaction price plus attributable transaction costs. Subsequent to initial recognition they are measured at amortised cost using the effective interest method, less any impairment losses in the case of trade debtors. |

Cash and cash equivalents are represented by cash in hand. |
