The Childrens Activities Association continues to support providers of childrens activities to continue to maintain and raise standards of provision for the benefit of all children and to assist our members and wider non membership social media groups on the importance of running their businesses well to protect themselves and children. We have recently engaged with a number of new partners to enhance how we offer our service to the community we represent and all stakeholders engaged with that community that we can affect. These partnerships will help us to continue developing our service offering to members and indirectly the children they represent. We successfully hosted our annual event for the community in 2023 and are building on that success in 2024 with another annual conference and other smaller events to promote knowledge, training and good practice. These events continue to grow and are appreciated by our members and the community. We continue our association with Cauldwell Children and other representatives to affect change in government policy to promote child wellbeing and the rights of children and providers in our sector. Overall it has been a good year after a very difficut period during covid when many activity providers were severely impacted. We will continue to build on these successes to help our members and the wider community that engage with us.
