Significant legal costs have been incurred during the period in connection with action taken by the company in respect of disputes with former franchisees [for the Cannock and Preston areas], including High Court proceedings [against the former Cannock franchisee] which are ongoing. The directors formed the view that was necessary to take such action in the interests of the company and its franchise network. The directors believe that the negative financial impact on the company will be limited and the financial prospects for the company remain positive. Financial support has been provided in the accounting period by Mr Williams (director). |
