The principal activity of the company was that of property management on a non profit making basis.

In order to assist you to fulfil your duties under the Companies Act 2006, we have prepared for your approval the financial statements of Central Park (Bristol) Management Company Limited for the year ended 31 December 2023 which comprise the profit and loss account, the balance sheet and the related notes from the company’s accounting records and from information and explanations you have given us.

 

As a practising member firm of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), we are subject to its ethical and other professional requirements which are detailed at https://www.icaew.com/regulation

This report is made solely to the Board of Directors of Central Park (Bristol) Management Company Limited, as a body, in accordance with the terms of our engagement letter dated 18 April 2017. Our work has been undertaken solely to prepare for your approval the financial statements of Central Park (Bristol) Management Company Limited and state those matters that we have agreed to state to the Board of Directors of Central Park (Bristol) Management Company Limited, as a body, in this report in accordance with ICAEW Technical Release 07/16 AAF. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not accept or assume responsibility to anyone other than Central Park (Bristol) Management Company Limited and its Board of Directors as a body, for our work or for this report.

It is your duty to ensure that Central Park (Bristol) Management Company Limited has kept adequate accounting records and to prepare statutory financial statements that give a true and fair view of the assets, liabilities, financial position and result of Central Park (Bristol) Management Company Limited. You consider that Central Park (Bristol) Management Company Limited is exempt from the statutory audit requirement for the year.

For the financial year ended 31 December 2023 the company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 with respect to accounting records and the preparation of financial statements.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit of its financial statements for the year in question in accordance with section 476.

These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

Accounting policies
Company information

Central Park (Bristol) Management Company Limited is a private company limited by shares incorporated in England and Wales. The registered office is 4th Floor, 1 James Street, London, W1U 1DR.

Accounting convention

These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with FRS 102 “The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland” (“FRS 102”) and the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 as applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

The financial statements are prepared in sterling, which is the functional currency of the company. Monetary amounts in these financial statements are rounded to the nearest £.

The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention. The principal accounting policies adopted are set out below.

Turnover

Turnover is recognised at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable for services provided in the normal course of business, and is shown net of VAT.

Revenue from contracts for the provision of services is recognised by reference to the stage of completion.

Cash at bank and in hand

Cash and cash equivalents includes cash in hand.

Financial instruments

The company's financial instruments are all classified as basic under FRS102 and no items are measured at fair value.
