Over the past year, Oshay’s has expanded its reach, now providing comprehensive support to neurodiverse families, making us the only contact centre in the area that works with everyone, including families with neurodiverse children. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, we have successfully increased both in-person and virtual activities, offering more resources and services to our growing community. Our volunteer recruitment efforts have continued, with all volunteers going through the necessary disclosure processes to enable us to restart vital support groups and activities for children.
We have built on our relationships with stakeholders by expanding our service offerings a child contact centre to include a broader focus on neurodiverse families. This expansion has strengthened our reputation within the community, allowing us to become a key resource for families requiring specialised support. Stakeholder consultations, both in person and online, have allowed us to better understand the evolving needs of our clients, enabling Oshay’s to tailor our services and build a stronger, more inclusive support network for all. Volunteer engagement continues to be a priority, ensuring that we can maintain our expanded services.
