Show and Tell Photo exists to help our community obtain new understanding of - and gain from - the positive mental health benefits of photography. We upskill young people in photography and image-making - via access to video and in-person lessons and inspiration from top practitioners – often, but not necessarily, delivered within PHSE lesson time. The community will learn to appreciate and better understand the power of imagery to tell stories, reflect feelings and as a medium for social and cultural documentary. In doing so, the community will gain a new appreciation of imagery and image-making as it relates to self-expression online and in social media – a sometimes toxic and unhealthy environment. Regular exhibitions allow our community to submit their work and have the opportunity for it to be exhibited at scale. Photography can - and does - significantly improve the mental health of young people.
