The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for:
(a)ensuring that the company keeps accounting records which comply with Sections 386 and 387 of the Companies Act 2006 and
(b)preparing financial statements which give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the company as at the end of each financial year and of its surplus or deficit for each financial year in accordance with the requirements of Sections 394 and 395 and which otherwise comply with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 relating to financial statements, so far as applicable to the company.

1. STATUTORY INFORMATION

Anson Museum Trust Limited is a private company, limited by guarantee , registered in England and Wales. The company's registered number and registered office address can be found on the Company Information page.

2. ACCOUNTING POLICIES

Basis of preparing the financial statements
The financial statements of the charitable company, which is a public benefit entity under FRS 102, have been prepared in accordance with the Charities SORP (FRS 102) 'Accounting and reporting by Charities: Statements of Recommended Practice applicable to charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) (effective 1 January 2015)', Financial Reporting Standard 102 'The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland' and the Companies Act 2006. The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention.

Income
All income is recognised in the Statement of Financial Activities once the charity has entitlement to the funds, it is probable that the income will be received and the amount can be measured reliably.

Tangible fixed assets
The cost of tangible fixed assets includes only expenditure incurred in bringing the assets into working condition for their intended use. Depreciation is provided at the following annual rates in order to allocate the cost of each asset over its estimated useful life.

Fixtures & Fittings - 15% on reducing balance
Computer Equipment - 33% on cost
Plant & Machinery - 25% on reducing balance
Buildings - 2% on cost

Stocks
Stocks are valued at the lower of cost and net realisable value, after making due allowance for obsolete and slow moving items.

Taxation
The charity is exempt from corporation tax on its charitable activities.

3. EMPLOYEES AND DIRECTORS

The average number of employees during the year was NIL (2022 - NIL).

8. RELATED PARTY DISCLOSURES

Included within creditors is an interest free loan of £4,000 due to a trustee of the charity ( 31st December 2022 - £6,488).

Included within charitable activities there is rental expenditure of £1,300 (31st December 2022 - Nil ). This is owed to a trustee of the charity who owns the land and the £1,300 remains outstanding and is included within creditors at 31st December 2023.

No rent was incurred in the year ended 31st December 2022 as the trustee waived the rental expnense due to exceptional circumstances regarding the Covid-19 pandemic.
