Balance sheet statements

For the year ending 30 November 2023 the company was entitled to exemption under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.

These accounts have been prepared and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

The directors have chosen not to file a copy of the company's profit and loss account.

  • 1. Accounting policies

    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

    Turnover represents revenue earned during the period, net of Value Added Tax.

    Tangible fixed assets depreciation policy

    Tangible fixed assets are stated at cost less depreciation. Depreciation is provided at rates calculated to write off the cost less estimated residual value of each asset over its expected useful life, as follows: Plant and machinery -- over a period of between 2 and 5 years straight line Computer equipment -- over a period of 3 years straight line Motor vehicles -- over a period of between 2 and 5 years straight line The carrying values of tangible fixed assets are reviewed for impairment when events or changes in circumstances indicate the carrying value may not be recoverable

Company activities and impact

The CIC aims to work with Children, Young people and Adults in need of support and advice. The CIC will aim to help people in the local community and surrounding areas of Liverpool with health and well being, employability, volunteering, money management/ debt advice and housing. The CIC will also aim to provide a safe space for individuals to improve self esteem and confidence. The CIC will also deliver projects for those involved involved in crime to break free Young women accessing the service will also have access to support around domestic violence, childcare, mental health and advocacy services.

Consultation with stakeholders

Stake holders are individuals accessing the service from the local area and surrounding areas of liverpool who are referred into the service by partner agencies. We ask everyone who access the service to complete a support plan to identify areas of need and at the end of accessing a project / service to complete an evaluation to review how far each individual has progressed
