By giving the spoken word community in Birmingham ,more opportunity to be heard. There is a lack of spoken word poetry events in Birmingham, yet such a large community, with it being 2nd city. This allows this community to express themselves in safe space that will be recurring. An opportunity for the community to learn and be apart of more intimate sessions where they can learn and develop their skills surrounding spoken word poetry. This will be open to all skill levels and all backgrounds of people that are interested in creative writing/poetry.
