Company activities and impact

Harbour runs an online support community called Panic Pals. It started in March 2022 to help those struggling with anxiety, panic attacks, and agoraphobia. Our group holds free bimonthly video chat support sessions where members can share their experiences and provide mutual support in a judgement-free environment. We also maintain private online forums and group chats where members can connect daily to discuss challenges, share tips and resources, and support one another through difficult times. Over the past year, we have provided members with solidarity during panic attacks, encouraged those afraid to leave their homes, and empowered individuals to make progress managing their anxiety. Our anonymous forums have allowed members to openly discuss sensitive topics and receive personalized advice and resources relevant to their mental health needs. We distribute a monthly newsletter with curated articles, meditation tracks, and details on community events to further support members between sessions. The welcoming, understanding environment of Panic Pals has benefited not only our members, but extended to their friends and family who better understand their struggles. Our community outreach has also helped raise awareness to support breaking down stigma surrounding anxiety disorders.

Consultation with stakeholders

Panic Pals' key stakeholders are our members struggling with anxiety disorders, their family and friends affected by their condition, mental health professionals, and the general public. We consult our members through anonymous surveys following each support session to continually improve events and services based on feedback. Recently, members have requested 1-on-1 services and additional support literature, so we are currently exploring partnerships with specialized counselors and producing pamphlets for members on managing panic attacks based on feedback during a consultation.
