Year Ending: 31 October 2023

Company activities and impact

For the stated financial year, the company had run a couple of projects related to cookery classes and a new venture via a National Lottery grant. One of our interests focused on providing cookery classes for pupils in alternative education, whereby the participants were taught valuable life skills in preparing meals for themselves and their families. Our other project focused on food was running a healthy wating class for unemployed/low-income groups. Both enterprises were well attended and received by our cohorts. They learnt skills such as budgeting, low fuel usage and healthy recipes. Our new venture of ‘play & stay’ sessions started towards the end of this financial year.

Consultation with stakeholders

We did not conduct formal consultations but received feedback form our close partners who made us aware of the need for our projects.

Directors' remuneration

£75 only for Directors’ remuneration. The other ‘wages’ listed in the accounts are for the employment of casual staff during the running of our projects.

Transfer of assets

No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
