FGRC PROJECT97 CIC is an independent community project operating in the Meadows area and the wider community. The project focuses on interfaith and interethnic activities through community training and support. We aim to promote community cohesion within Nottingham and the wider communities to emphasize the importance of togetherness. The main event took place over the festive season when the project collaborated with the Full Gospel Revival Centre & St Faith Church as well as people from in and around the Meadows area attended a gathering at 97 Bathley Street which is our meeting place. The event was to support older people including those experiencing loneliness; bereavement; mental health. During the event, meal and refreshment were provided. On the day people were able to interact; seek advice as well as find out more about what was happening. There was more than 75 persons attended the main event. On the other hand, although some community members could not attend the event due to other commitment or personal issues, they were aware of the project and services on offer to them including counselling and the safe space to meet and greet one another. The event helped to confirm what are on offer to those living in and around the Meadows area.
The local church parishioners were consulted with a view to confirming the venue as well as date and timings for the event. The event went well, consequently, there was no action arising.
No remuneration was received
No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
