1. STATUTORY INFORMATION

Norman Road (Winchester) Residents Association Limited is a private company, limited by guarantee , registered in England and Wales. The company's registered number and registered office address can be found on the Company Information page.

2. ACCOUNTING POLICIES

Basis of preparing the financial statements
These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with Financial Reporting Standard 102 "The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland" including the provisions of Section 1A "Small Entities" and the Companies Act 2006. The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention.

These accounts present service charges receivable as income, and payments payable on behalf of the Lessees as expenditure.

Turnover
Turnover is the amount derived from service charges receivable.

Financial instruments
Basic financial instruments are initially measured at the transaction price, unless the arrangement constitutes a financing transaction, when it is measured at the present value of the future repayments discounted at a market rate of interest for a similar debt instrument. Debt instruments are subsequently measured at amortised cost.

Taxation
The company is exempt from Corporation Tax as it is a domestic residents' property management company.

6. RELATED PARTY DISCLOSURES

Normans Freehold Limited

A company which has directors in common.

The amount owed from Normans Freehold Limited to Normans Road (Winchester) Residents Association Limited is £12.50 (2022: £25.00) This loan is provided interest free and is repayable on demand.

7. CALLED UP SHARE CAPITAL

The company has no share capital as it is limited by guarantee, each member promising to contribute the sum of £50 upon winding up.
