Basis of preparing the financial statements |
Turnover |
Turnover represents net invoiced sales of courses and training, adjusted for income received in advance, and excluding value added tax. |
Foreign currencies |
Assets and liabilities in foreign currencies are translated into sterling at the rates of exchange ruling at the balance sheet date. Transactions in foreign currencies are translated into sterling at the rate of exchange ruling at the date of transaction. Exchange differences are taken into account in arriving at the operating result. |
Going concern |
The director believes that it is appropriate to prepare the financial statements on a going concern basis which assumes that the company will continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future on the basis of the company's plans. |

8. | RELATED PARTY DISCLOSURES |
During the year the company had net costs totalling £23,370 (2022 net costs - £29,252) from Concorde (International) Summer Schools Limited (the parent company). At the year end £13,810 was payable (2022 - £9,560 receivable) by the company to Concorde (International) Summer Schools Limited in respect of these transactions and no interest is chargeable on the outstanding balance. |
