Year Ending: 30 November 2023

Company activities and impact

Throughout the year, the CIC continued to organize music events in Northampton, fulfilling its benefit objectives as outlined below: Activities during the year: 1. Showcasing psychobilly music in Northampton: The C.I.C. once again successfully brought a diverse line-up of bands to perform for the local community, with the festival taking place as scheduled in March. 2. Fostering a vibrant music community: Building on the success of previous years, the event continued to attract psychobilly enthusiasts from across the country and beyond. The festival's growing reputation, spread increasingly through word-of-mouth recommendations, led to a strong attendance. This influx of visitors created valuable opportunities for cultural exchange between out-of-town fans and local music lovers throughout the duration of the events. 3. Stimulating local economy and tourism: The music weekend once again undoubtedly brought a boost for Northampton's economy, with the influx of visitors generating demand for various local services, including hotel accommodations, restaurants, retail shops, and other businesses, contributing to the town's economic vitality.
