Additional information
During the year under review, we experimented with making our music workshops intergenerational. Our fun-filled keyboard lessons and African drums & percussion workshops were warmly welcomed by children and their parents! Children, especially, love the cultural and history-learning components of our activities and workshops. We look forward to doing more with children, young people and schools. Hopefully, this will boost our revenue.

Our primary focus is using the power of music to help members of the ageing community to overcome loneliness and isolation, foster togetherness, and improve their overall wellbeing. This is accomplished through our fun-filled music workshops and uplifting music-making activities. During the financial year, we expanded our music-making programmes from just Keyboard Lessons for the Over-50's to African Drums & Percussion Workshops. Additionally, we made our programmes more intergenerational, thereby including children and their families! The manufacturing of bespoke African talking drums, historical percussive instruments and cultural costumes were costly. However, the returns in the lives of beneficiaries and participants of our programmes, remains priceless!
Our stakeholders typically include the various Neighbourhood Network Scheme (NNS) branches in and around Birmingham. However, during the financial year in review, we did more of direct consultation with individuals i.e. members of the public and families.
