  • 1. Accounting policies

    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

    Turnover is measured at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable, excluding discounts, rebates, value added tax and other sales taxes. Turnover from the sale of goods is recognised when goods have been delivered to customers such that risks and rewards of ownership have transferred to them. Turnover from the rendering of services is recognised by reference to the stage of completion of the contract. The stage of completion of a contract is measured by comparing the costs incurred for work performed to date to the total estimated contract costs.

    Other accounting policies

    Inventories have been valued at the lower of cost and estimated selling price less costs to complete and sell. In respect of work in progress and finished goods, cost includes a relevant proportion of overheads according to the stage of manufacturing/completion.

Hera Mindful Healing is an online community support group dedicated to assisting individuals experiencing mental health challenges who lack access to conventional services due to financial constraints and lack of mainstream services. The group offers a comprehensive range of resources and activities designed to empower participants in managing their mental wellbeing. We are currently supporting 1700 members. However this number can increase daily. The primary objective of Hera Mindful Healing is to provide accessible mental health support to individuals facing financial limitations and lack of support. The group aims to achieve this by creating a virtual platform that fosters community, offers practical mindfulness techniques, delivers informational resources, and introduces alternative therapeutic approaches. Activities: Weekly Chat Rooms: Hera Mindful Healing hosts weekly online chat rooms where participants can engage in discussions focused on mindful living techniques. These chat rooms provide a safe and supportive environment for sharing experiences, challenges, and coping strategies. Weekly Live Videos: The group conducts weekly live video sessions to educate participants about various mindful techniques and tools for coping with mental health issues. These videos provide interactive learning opportunities and encourage active engagement. Daily Positive Affirmations and Information: To infuse positivity into participants' daily lives, Hera Mindful Healing shares four daily posts featuring positive affirmations and relevant mental health information. This consistent communication helps cultivate a positive mindset. Group Resources: Hera Mindful Healing provides a repository of resources that include written materials, guided meditations, guides, and blogs. These resources offer valuable insights into different mental health conditions and strategies for living with them. Guided Meditations: The group offers five original recorded guided meditation sessions aimed at promoting relaxation, mindfulness, enhanced sleep and stress reduction. These meditations empower participants to incorporate mindfulness into their daily routines. Written Resources: Hera Mindful Healing produces comprehensive written resources, including guides and blogs, which explain various mental health conditions and offer practical advice on managing them. These resources serve as educational tools for self-improvement. Monthly Meditation Circle: The monthly meditation circle provides participants with a dedicated space for group meditation sessions. This collective experience fosters a sense of unity and enhances mindfulness practices. Bi-Monthly Guest Alternative Therapists: To diversify the support options, Hera Mindful Healing invites guest alternative therapists such as Pranic healers, positive mindset coaches, subconscious mind trainers, and reiki masters.
