Company activities and impact

London Judo CIC has been a vital part of the local community for the past financial year. Our club is dedicated to promoting the sport of judo and its values of discipline, respect, and perseverance. In the past financial year, we have continued to make a positive impact on our community through various initiatives. Youth Development and Character Building London Judo CIC provides a safe and supportive environment for young people to learn judo and develop essential life skills. Our experienced instructors serve as positive role models, teaching members the importance of discipline, respect, and perseverance. These values not only benefit them on the mat but also translate into their personal and academic lives. Physical and Mental Health Judo is a physically demanding sport that offers numerous health benefits. Regular training improves cardiovascular health, strength, flexibility, and coordination. Additionally, the mental discipline required for judo can help reduce stress, boost self-esteem, and improve overall well-being. Community Engagement and Outreach London Judo CIC is committed to giving back to the community. We participate in local events, volunteer our time to charitable causes, and collaborate with other organizations to promote the sport of judo. Our members have also been involved in community outreach programs, such as visiting local universities to introduce students to judo. Social Inclusion and Diversity We believe that judo is a sport for everyone. Our club is committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all members, regardless of age, gender, race, or ability. We have implemented initiatives to promote diversity within our club and encourage participation from all members of the community. Specific Achievements and Successes In the past year, our members have achieved significant success in competitions at both local and national levels. Consultation with stakeholders

London Judo CIC has foster partnerships with local educational institutions. We work closely with the student union bodies of Birkbeck, Royal Veterinary College, and the University of London in general to promote judo among their student populations. Through these collaborations, we have organized introductory workshops, guest lectures, and open training sessions to introduce students to the sport and its benefits. Feedback and Action We have received valuable feedback from student unions regarding their members' interests and needs. In response, we have tailored our programs and initiatives to address their specific requirements. For example, we have offered flexible training schedules to accommodate students' academic commitments and organized social events to foster a sense of community among our members. As well as preparing students to represent their respective institutions at local and national competitions.
