COMMUNITY INTEREST ANNUAL REPORT

I SENSORY CIC

Company Number: 13877725 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 31 January 2024

Company activities and impact

I Sensory CIC is a community interest non-profit organisation that was formulated to support, provide information and resources for parents like me who have children and teenagers with additional needs within my local community. I Sensory CIC provides a non-judgemental service for parents with the Wednesday Wellbeing Coffee Mornings, Lunch date for parents, whilst exploring areas of mental wellbeing, where they can share their personal journeys and challenges, they face daily. This reinforces that they are not alone, this enables them to meet with other parents that they can easily relate to and encourage along the SEND parent journey. We offer referrals and form filling assistance for those parents that need administrative support. I Sensory CIC also offer a vast array of workshops carefully orchestrated to appease children with additional needs such as Autism and ADHD. We service from 4 years old to 16 years old. I Sensory CIC collaborates with other local organisations and groups and signposts parents to access further help and support in other areas if needed. I Sensory CIC has successfully provided support, sensory workshops, seasonal workshops, holiday camps, excursions, sporting activities, advocated for parents during school meetings, administration of referrals, form filling and a what's app support group that consistently supports 44 Send parents daily and 84 Send children. I Sensory CIC have supported over 400 SEND families across Wandsworth and other boroughs.
