Company activities and impact

During the last financial year 2023-2023, the shops activities have benefitted the community in the following ways, By giving out freely, food and goods by way of a community larder set up in the shop which is accessible every day for people to pick up tinned produce, allotment veg,,donated toiletries as well incontinence products and nappies. Much like a foodbank. By offering low cost items such as household goods and clothing at a lower price than mainstream “charity” shops. Donating throughout year to local groups and individuals by way of monetary donations and hampers, including a martial arts group,special needs bed,,sports adapted wheelchair,and gift vouchers for those people who just need a “pick me up” due to illness or bereavement . Extra food hampers given out at xmas to the local residential homes and warden controlled homes A wake was held for a local lady with no immediate family and local people invited for a small gathering and reminisce .
