Going concern

The company ceased to trade on 26 September 2022 when the flat was sold. Final monies relating to the sale were received In December 2023. Outstanding tax liabilities have been settled, and final dividends declared to distribute the reserves. An application will now be made to formally dissolve the company.

This report has been prepared in accordance with the special provisions relating to companies subject to the small companies regime within Part 15 of the Companies Act 2006.

This report is made solely to the Board of Directors of Birmingham & West Midlands Property Developments Ltd, as a body, in accordance with the terms of our engagement letter dated 4 May 2004. The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with FRS 105 'The Financial Reporting Standard applicable to the Micro-entities Regime'.

Staff numbers

The average number of persons employed by the company (including directors) during the year, was 2 (2023 - 2).

For the financial year ending 30 June 2024 the company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

Directors' responsibilities:

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit of its accounts for the year in question in accordance with section 476; and

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.

These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the micro-entity provisions of the Companies Act 2006 and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.
