Company activities and impact

In the financial year 2023-2024, EasyTibetan made significant contributions to the community through a variety of impactful activities aimed at promoting and preserving Tibetan language and culture. We organized both summer and winter Tibetan language schools, as well as numerous private language and translation classes. Through these initiatives, we successfully taught Tibetan to approximately 25 students, offering scholarships to four deserving students for our summer session. Our summer school also featured public lectures on Buddhism and Tibetan culture, attracting over 50 participants, thereby fostering a broader appreciation and understanding of these subjects. Complementing our classes , EasyTibetan actively manages Instagram and Facebook pages where we share weekly posts about Tibetan language and culture with our 17,000 followers. These posts have been widely well-received and have helped to further engage and educate our online community. As a language and culture that faces suppression in Tibet, one of EasyTibetan's primary goals is to preserve and promote Tibetan language and culture worldwide. Through our dedicated efforts, we have made meaningful strides in benefiting the community by keeping the rich heritage of Tibet alive and accessible to all. In addition, Easytibetan, in collaboration with the Oxford Tibetan and Himalayan Studies cohort, has invited a distinguished Buddhist scholar from India to teach Buddhism to both Oxford students and the local Buddhist community for the duration of an academic term. This esteemed visitorship is fully funded by Archa Rinpoche.
