Company activities and impact

The Wildheart Foundation is revolutionising how children access education through an inclusive, multi-sensory, and flexible approach. We empower children to take charge of their learning journey, enabling them to thrive both academically and emotionally. Our team of highly vetted, trained, and mentored therapeutic tutors work alongside each child, helping them define and achieve their own version of success in environments that best suit their unique needs. In just our first year, we have already made remarkable strides despite having to build our systems and processes from the ground up. We now have an incredible team of 56 dedicated tutors and mentors working with us. Our reach extends across the UK and Europe, where we have successfully developed relationships with more than 10 local authorities and educational institutions. Our team of tutors/mentors are highly qualified, possess specialist knowledge of SEND including ADHD, Autism and PDA and are experienced in working with children and young people with social, emotional or mental health needs. So far, we have delivered over 520 hours of direct tutoring and mentoring to 21 children, positively impacting their academic and emotional well-being. Our team of Youth Ambassadors is central to our mission, playing a key role in shaping our decision-making and ensuring that the voices of young people are at the heart of everything we do. We are also proud to have a thriving online presence, with the launch of our Wildheart Facebook page. This platform not only increases awareness of our services but also provides a space for families to connect, share experiences, and find support from others facing similar challenges. It has also been instrumental in attracting new tutors to join our growing team. Without the support of The Wildheart Foundation, many of the children we work with would have struggled to access any form of education. Our tailored approach has allowed us to build strong relationships with both the children and their families, offering specialist advice on the rights and needs of neurodiverse children. Looking ahead, we have agreements in place with families and local authorities to expand our provisions, which we expect to implement in the coming year. By continually refining our approach and growing our team, The Wildheart Foundation is committed to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed.
