During the financial year, our community counselling service has significantly benefited the local community through various initiatives and activities: Mental Health Support: We provided over 100 hours of free or low-cost counselling sessions to individuals facing mental health challenges. This support has been crucial in helping community members manage stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues. Workshops and Seminars: We organised 4 workshops and seminars on topics such as stress management, coping strategies, and mental wellness. These events were attended by over 50 community members, equipping them with valuable tools and knowledge to improve their mental health. Outreach Programs: Our outreach programs targeted vulnerable groups, including the elderly, youth, and low-income families. We partnered with, community centers, and healthcare providers to ensure these groups received the support they needed. Collaboration with Local Organisations: We collaborated with local organisations to create a network of support for individuals in need. This collaboration has enhanced our ability to refer clients to additional resources and services, ensuring comprehensive care. Feedback and Improvement: We actively sought feedback from our clients and community partners to continuously improve our services. This feedback has been instrumental in tailoring our programs to better meet the needs of the community.
