The director of the company has elected not to include a copy of the profit and loss account within the financial statements.true

For the financial year ended 31 December 2023 the company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

The director acknowledges his responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 with respect to accounting records and the preparation of financial statements.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit of its financial statements for the year in question in accordance with section 476.

These financial statements have been prepared and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

Accounting policies
Company information

Erskine Estates & Properties Limited is a private company limited by shares incorporated in England and Wales. The registered office is Unit A 18 Western Gateway, Royal Victoria Docks, London, E16 1BL.

Accounting convention
The financial statements are prepared under the historical cost convention.

The financial statements are prepared in sterling, which is the functional currency of the company. Monetary amounts in these financial statements are rounded to the nearest £.

The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention. The principal accounting policies adopted are set out below.

Changes in the fair value of derivatives that are designated and qualify as fair value hedges are recognised in profit or loss immediately, together with any changes in the fair value of the hedged asset or liability that are attributable to the hedged risk.

Fixed asset investments are stated at cost less provision for diminution in value.

Financial commitments, guarantees and contingent liabilities
The company has given security by way of a debenture in favour of HSBC Private Bank (UK) Limited, in respect of loans advanced to the ultimate parent company Fitzpatrick Construction UK Limited.

Related party transactions

The company has taken advantage of the exemption available in accordance with FRS102 (1A) whereby not to disclose transactions entered into between two or more members of a group, as the company is a wholly owned subsidiary undertaking of the group to which it is party to the transactions.

Parent company

The ultimate parent undertaking is Fitzpatrick Construction UK Limited (incorporated in England and Wales), by virtue of its 100% shareholding in the Company. The ultimate controlling party are the executors for the late Mrs L Fitzpatrick.
