Company activities and impact

The Grenfell Tower Fire happened in June 2017 and resulted in72 people dying with many more suffering physical injuries and thousands suffer psychological injuries including former neighbours in tower blocks facing Grenfell Tower. Hot Stuff Studios created in Notting Dale, as a legacy and living memorial of Grenfell Tower Fire. Located in close proximity at the traditional pre-Victorian site of potteries and brick making bottle kilns ,we came together to bring solace and give silent but long lasting voice to our community. After the first year’s despair , overwhelming collective trauma and chaos of donations , we channeled our community’s voice into creative healing sessions with clay , where we could all let go and write our thoughts, express our deepest condolences and begun creating lasting and most organic Community led Memorial Murals. There are several respectful locations with mandalas of healing hearts and we carry on @Silent Art 4 Grenfell . Please get in touch if you need one to one. We run family based and group session. We also have a lot of practice in an outdoor ceramic workshop setting at open community events . In the year 22-23 we have continued our work with workshops for different community affected by the fire. Silent Art includes local artist/teachers/designers, all engaged in Grenfell Art Relief projects, bringing clay to people and inviting to a clay meditation in memory and honour of 72 people perished in the fire. . As the Community Outreach we work in the community hubs, and at the events

Consultation with stakeholders

We liaise closely with survivors of the fire and the communities in North Kensington. We also provide feed back to funders. We work at a range of community hubs in North Kensington and so gain their views as to what we should be doing.
