Evolution Swim School CIC has provided 2800 free swimming lessons to socially and economically disadvantaged children and young people across Falkirk and Edinburgh from July 2023 - June 2024. Evolution Swim School CIC has also provided a weekly additional support needs learn to swim club supporting up to 10 children weekly providing free swimming lessons during the school term time, equating to 60 hours of teaching time. Evolution Swim School CIC has also worked with Scottish Swimming Disability on 2 para sports day festivals and a muscle dystrophy festival in both Falkirk and Edinburgh. By participating in our swimming lessons, we provide the following tangible benefits: 1. A safe and welcoming environment 2. Opportunity to be more socially connected 3. Develop communication skills with teacher and peers 4. Develop and improve learning skills – both visual and verbal 5. Improve CYP skills and confidence 6. Improve self-worth and belief in their own abilities 7. Learn to swim 8. Improve physical and mental health
