Company activities and impact

The company runs community activities which support in creating a healthy active future for the black community. This year the work has benefited the community the the following ways: - Local people have been able to learn about heath related topics that impact the black communities health and wellbeing. - The work has provided a space for black professionals to work with and support more in communities to improve health inequalities. - The work has enabled 100+ people in the black community to come together to learn, connect and talk about impacts on their health and wellbeing.

Consultation with stakeholders

The company’s stakeholders are people from the black community mainly based in London and the UK. The directors of the company are members of the black community and use their experience and understanding of the community to help shape our work. We are everyone using our service to fill in a short survey about their experience. We also have an open survey asking the community for feedback on what they would like to see us do. Our insight has allowed us to understand how often or attendees are active, what types of events they enjoy and what they want to see more of from us. Our work has allowed us to understand that many in the black community have people in their lives who are inactive or have a health condition. The common health conditions that our community need support with and what topics they are interested most. This allows us to shape our events and the professionals we connect with for workshops.
