In the financial year, Verve Community CIC has made significant contributions to the Greater Manchester community through various initiatives. By recruiting foster carers for not-for-profit organizations, Verve has supported vulnerable children and families. Additionally, through the recruitment of candidates for Forest learning among the Armed Forces and the provision of DBS checks for the not-for-profit sector, Verve has contributed to community safety and employment opportunities. A key highlight is the social impact created through knitted donations, where over 45,000 items, including baby clothes, toys, bereavement blankets, and knitted hearts, have been donated to local hospitals during the pandemic. This initiative, supported by over 250 volunteers inspired by Verve's blogs, has helped alleviate poverty and support the vulnerable.
