The directors of the company have elected not to include a copy of the profit and loss account within the financial statements.true

For the financial year ended 31 December 2023 the company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 480 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to dormant companies.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 with respect to accounting records and the preparation of financial statements.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit of its financial statements for the year in question in accordance with section 476.

These financial statements have been prepared and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

Accounting policies
Company information

Blenholme Court Management (Hampton) Limited is a private company limited by shares incorporated in England and Wales. The registered office is 40, Church Street, Twickenham, United Kingdom, TW1 3NR.

Accounting convention

These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with FRS 102 “The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland” (“FRS 102”) and the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 as applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime. The disclosure requirements of section 1A of FRS 102 have been applied other than where additional disclosure is required to show a true and fair view.

The financial statements are prepared in sterling, which is the functional currency of the company. Monetary amounts in these financial statements are rounded to the nearest £.

The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention. The principal accounting policies adopted are set out below.

Under the terms of the deed, the costs of the Management Company's activities in managing and maintaining Blenholme Court, Station Road, Hampton are met fully by the 'freeholders' and accordingly the Management Company makes neither profit nor loss on its activities.

 

The service charge contributions paid out by the 'freeholders' towards the Management Company's costs are held in trust by the Management Company for the 'freeholders' benefit in accordance with section 42 of the Landlords and Tenants Act 1987. The Management Company has no beneficial interest in these funds and consequently they have been excluded from the Financial Statements.

 

Principal activity

The company does not trade, but holds as nominee, the freehold to Blenholme Court, Station Road, Hampton.

Profit and loss account

During the financial year and the preceding financial year the company has not traded and has received no income and incurred no expenditure. Consequently, during those periods the company has made neither a surplus nor a deficit.

Employee benefits

The costs of short-term employee benefits are recognised as a liability and an expense, unless those costs are required to be recognised as part of the cost of stock or fixed assets.

 

The cost of any unused holiday entitlement is recognised in the period in which the employee’s services are received.

 

Termination benefits are recognised immediately as an expense when the company is demonstrably committed to terminate the employment of an employee or to provide termination benefits.
