Company activities and impact

In the space provided below, please insert a general account of the company's activities in the financial year to which the report relates, including a description of how they have benefited the community. The company was incorporated on the 14 July 2021. The company provides services that promote the rights of persons who have been affected by the Home Offices ‘Hostile Environment’ policy, especially those from Wolverhampton. During the financial year 14th July 2021 to 31 December 2022 the company's activities have benefited the community in the following ways: -The community was helped to complete compensation forms, which may subsequently enable them to get some funding, which they were previously not aware of. -Run a number of focus group workshops which helped our community address the finance loss and stress that a number of them were experiencing. -Highlighted stories so as to share experiences and possible solutions to common issues relating to the Home Offices ‘Hostile Environment’ policy.

Consultation with stakeholders

The company’s stakeholders arc the local community of Wolvcrhampton, Wolverhampton University and other prun iriert Windrusf campaigners Thu diiectuis uf the cumpariy have all been affected by Windrush. The project has been developed based on their experience of Windrush as well as from talking to other community members from the Windrush generation. Everyone using our services is asked to complete a feedback questionnaire about Windrush issues, our research has enabled us to assess the level of knowledge of the Windrush issues affecting our community and available compensations and entitlements. We plan to have more detailed research in year 2 of our operations.
