During 2023 Breaking Mad CIC was dormant. During 2022, Breaking Mad CIC was commissioned by Her Majesty's Prison & Probation Service (HMPPS) to develop and facilitate mental health awareness workshops to prison staff from black and minority ethnic backgrounds. These workshops benefited the community in the following ways - 1) Prison staff were provided with a safe space to explore difficult experiences around racial trauma, imposter syndrome and self- care. 2) Feedback from attendees indicated that staff felt empowered to manage wellbeing inside and outside the workplace. The company also provided consultation reports to HMPPS to support them in making lasting changes in their services
