    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

    Turnover from the rendering of services is recognised by reference to the stage of completion of the contract. The stage of completion of a contract is measured by comparing the costs incurred for work performed to date to the total estimated contract costs.

Company activities and impact

The company provide support to local communities by working with young people 11+ in the local park. The company provides this support by managing an outreach detached team of 3 youth workers primarily of an evening, as well as managing holiday programmes. Activities include sessions to develop young people’s confidence, self esteem and general well-being as well as support and empower young people to make positive choices to try and reduce anti social behaviour within the area. Most activities with be sport or game related with time for informal discussions relating to issues and challenges young people face, including drugs, alcohol, sexual health, education and general health. The company also provide additional support when commissioned to support young people on a one to one basis through mentoring, this supports their growth and development. Targets are set from the first session and then worked on over a 6-8 week period.

Consultation with stakeholders

The companies stakeholders are local park consortiums who commission the work youth empowering services cic do. Young people are also part of the decisions about what activities are on the programme. The company also provides options to local businesses in the area to suggest times they feel would support the community for engaging young people, this is in response to local antisocial behaviour reports. Feedback is also given at the end of each project from families, young people and local businesses to improve the service.

Directors' remuneration

The total amount paid or receivable by directors in respect of qualifying services was. Chelsea Rutherford £1486.25 Stuart Meredith £1657.50 There were no other transactions or arrangements in connection with the remuneration of directors, or compensation for director’s loss of office, which require to be disclosed.
