Company activities and impact

This year No Vice Ice has produced ice lollies using local surplus fruit and other natural ingredients. We have sold these in 10 local venues, as well as attending private and public local events. We have rescued over 200kg of surplus fruit and juice from becoming waste. We have offered two people with long term hidden health conditions, flexible employment within the company, trailing ‘stage two’ of our trainee program. We are now working on a strategic plan to scale up the company, which includes seeking scale up funding, new premises and equipment.

Consultation with stakeholders

Stakeholders: - Customers (At local events) - Consumers purchasing our lollies (10 local vendors) - Suppliers (Rectory Farm, Oxford Farmhouse) - Ex trainees / Current employees with hidden health conditions - Event hirers We have consulted with stakeholders in a range of ways: - With Flo’s team (People Place and Participation Ltd is charitable community benefit hub about the sale of lollies) - Face to face conversations with customers at public stalls at events - Through our wider networks, public health, OSEP, about social purpose - About food inequality, access and issues surrounding food waste through the OX4 Food Crew - attending meetings every 1-2 months and the OXfarmtofork scheme.
