Company activities and impact

The company runs Hassan Brighton CIC, a youth football programme with a strong focus on the African community. During the financial year, Hassan Brighton CIC have benefitted the community in the following ways: Providing free football for children with special educational needs and non-special educational needs children to access, run by a qualified SEN teacher, Speech and Language Therapist and FA coaches Providing free mentorship programme to help children develop life skills and expose them to career options based on their interests, introduce them to people from different professions to serve as mentors, and providing a safe space for them to come and talk to a trusted team member about concerns they have and signpost them to relevant services where appropriate.

Consultation with stakeholders

The company’s stakeholders are parents, volunteers and children. The director’s of the company have been involved with voluntary work within the community. We ask everyone their views regarding our services and activities via completing questionnaires and verbal feedback. This has helped us to tailor our services to meet the demands of the community. For example, we now offer boxing sessions too as this was in demand.
