DiversITy-talent is a Community Impact Company (CIC) dedicated to empowering underrepresented groups to pursue careers in business and technology. Over the past financial year, we have impacted 55 children by providing them with valuable digital skills and a clearer understanding of the careers available in Business and Tech. We also gave back £2,000 in awards, which were used to fund tech-related assets and experiences, further enhancing their learning and development. This initiative has not only boosted the confidence of the participants but also provided them with tangible resources to support their growth in the digital world. Our KPI report and website of this year’s activities, provides further details on these efforts and outcomes. https://diversity-talent.co.uk/kpi-reporting/
Our stakeholders include the CIC board, sponsors, program participants, and community partners. We hold quarterly board updates with our CIC board to review progress, assess our impact, and ensure alignment with our mission. Additionally, we have established an advisory board for our sponsors, providing them with firsthand insights into the impact of their funding. This allows for open communication and ongoing consultation to ensure their contributions are being used effectively and are making a measurable difference. Feedback from these consultations has been invaluable in shaping our programs and ensuring they continue to meet the needs of the community and our stakeholders. If adjustments are needed based on this feedback, we take immediate action to improve the outcomes and effectiveness of our initiatives.
Bhavna Somaiya Plummer and Jeremy both received £3,855.40 in total for the time spent on DiversITy-talent and costs incurred as per the accounts.
