The company runs the Bolton Young Boys sports team with an emphasis on integrating non-English speaking people into the community and promoting health and wellbeing. The team’s activities have benefitted the community in the following ways: 1. Participants have had access to 120 hours’ worth of football sessions at various locations throughout the Bolton Locality. 2. Casual midweek or Sunday midweek games. – promoting competitive spirit, team work, bonding and bridging gaps between individuals with social dissonance. 3. Structured competitive Association Football League – structured football promotes responsibility, team work, respect and inclusivity. 4. Social Activities such as hosting BBQs, bowling & snooker nights and general get togethers. – these activities have exposed our participants to positive social behaviours in line with British values while improving their verbal and non-verbal communication skills. We have actively promoted activities that will help individuals gain skills to integrate and form common ground with the wider community.
The companies stakeholders are the two directors, regular attending members of the clubs sporting/social activities and local businesses that benefit from our use of facilities. We regularly undertake a consensus vote with attending members and members of the public with an interest in our activities. This was formulate a schedule on the best days to host football sessions and timing of matches for the weekend. We also did it to know what social events they’d all most likely want to attend and make plans to accommodate the majority as best as possible.
