The directors present their report with the financial statements of the company for the period ended 31 December 2022

Principal activities of the company

Company activities and impact Care and Education have been involved in a number of community initiatives having been severely impacted by Covid-19. The changing landscape has prompted Care and Education CIC to realign our service provision and focus specifically on areas of the community impacted by poverty, homelessness and loneliness. To work in partnership with government initiatives Care and Education, has worked with a voluntary service to deliver their Warm Spaces programme that provides a space for the elderly and the vulnerable to have a place to have a meal and to interact with others to prevent and counteract the issue of loneliness. Alongside community resources Care and Education have been involved in legal services, community advisory, worked with looked after young people, provided various levels of support to the elderly, active involvement with elders lone groups, We received funding to complete a memorial garden to celebrate the lives of the Windrush generation and in doing so we contracted in local services to work in partnership.
