Year Ending: 31 March 2024

Company activities and impact

The company runs a variety of programmes that bring the local community of Enfield together through sports and social activities. These are delivered either free of charge, or for a minimal contribution. The company was formed in January 2023. During the financial year 2023-2024, the company's activities have benefitted the community in the following ways: - Children from the local community who receive free school meals have been able to attend holiday activity and food programmes free of charge at Easter, Christmas and during the summer school holidays. The children were provided with a healthy meal every day, different sporting and enrichment activities as well as education around nutrition and healthy lifestyles. - Local residents aged 50 years and above were invited to take place in a free walking football event. This event gave local residents the opportunity to get active and socialise with fellow residents. We also collaborated with Enfield Age UK to deliver this event. - Children from the local community were invited to take part in a free football camp during half term. This event gave local children the opportunity to get active and socialise with other children from the community. - Local residents were able to come to collect free food parcels at an event in collaboration with the felix project. This supported at least 40 families from the local community. - Our programmes have provided job opportunities to 12 local residents

Consultation with stakeholders

The company's stakeholders are residents of the local community, the families that access our programmes as well as local businesses who we use ta deliver elements of our programme, especially in relation to catering. During every programme that we deliver, we speak to users of the programme and/or their parents/guardians and ask them for feedback on the programme as we!! as ideas of events/programmes that they think would benefit the local community. We also regularly reach out to the local community through social media to get opinions and ideas on future services. As a result of this feedback, we have: -Expanded our holiday activity and food programmes so that there was a separate programme running simultaneously that was targeted at children who have special educational needs or disabilities. We have since been able to help almost 30 families of children with SEND. -Changed our caterer for our holiday activity and food programmes to a locally based business who create meals which adhere to the school food standards - We have also used feedback from the community to design a new football programme specifically targeted at girls within the local community. So far, this has helped 25 local girls to get active, make new friends and learn new skills.
