Company activities and impact

Meka has provided work experience opportunities for six students from UCB focusing on their development in technology Additionally Meka collaborated with Birmingham Mind to promote Black culture and support community well-being through mental health initiatives During the financial year our activities have benefited the community in the following ways We organized three distinct mental health events one for women one for men and one for child renin partnership with Mount Zion Community Church allowing families to access vital resources and support Activities during these events included informative sessions and resource packs aimed at helping families in the Black community understand that mental health challenges such as anxiety and depression affect everyone regardless of race Our initiatives have contributed to breaking the stigma surrounding mental health within the Black community reinforcing the message that mental health awareness is important for all The events have increased our brand recognition enabling us to establish new partnerships with local organizations focused on community well-being Through these efforts Meka has strengthened its commitment to supporting mental health in the community and fostering connections among diverse groups
