  • 1. Accounting policies

    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

    Turnover is measured at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable, net of discount and value added taxed. Turnover includes includes revenue earned from the sale of goods and from the rendering of services. Turnover is reduced for estimated customer returns, rebate and others similar allowances.

    Tangible fixed assets depreciation policy

    Tangible fixed assets are measured at cost less accumulated depreciation and any accumulated impairment losses. Depreciation is provided at the rate calculated to write at the cost of the fixed assets, less their estimated residual value, over their expected useful life on the following basis.

Company activities and impact Manchester Academic solutions is an institution which seeks to provide local and international students access to academic training and learning. Our professional team delivers courses tailored to suit all needs of students locally based as well as those who arrive in the United- kingdom in pursuit of a bright academic future. At the same time MAS also works as a non- profit organization. providing spaces to refugees and asylum seekers and disadvantaged communities within our courses. The basic aim is to enable disadvantaged communities to grow and learn with others and have the same opportunities to develop and progress as others. Our mission is to spread education as it empowers people to gain confidence and celebrate success with inner happiness. It increases the ability of being able to achieve and pursue wider fields of work and education. The vision of individuals materializes with our continuous support and help. Together, we are a huge community that learns, develops and grow's in success and happiness. Our institution is founded on empathy and good practice. We're specialists of adult education and ensure that all students enrolled put in their full potential as well as the staff, to gain maximum out of our institution to be successful in their lives. Our staff have been chosen specifically to serve the purpose of our ethics. We endeavour to support all our students with adaptable sessions online deerling high quality education, with professional code of conduct and following our policies and regulations. We are happy to declare that we've had 99% success with students getting into jobs, further courses, or even enrolling on to vocational courses after training with us. Our sessions are designed on our expertise of teaching and learning, meticulous lesson planning and delivering and a discreet focus on learning outcomes. MAS is overjoyed to declare that our students connect to us even after leaving our institution. letting us know of their success stories and informing us of their every giant step they take in their future pursuit of progress. We are a huge community of student life. Where students share and return to celebrate their success stories. We have some students who gladly volunteered to work for us to share in the academic success of others. Our values have been stronger than ever before. MAS seeks to continue sharing the success and increase in its community members. We never forget to reward our students for their good work and support to each other. Therefore, we never cease to celebrate their success with us. Our online education is in line with the current circumstances. We are bound to knock at the door of success even during critical times. MAS is proud to state that during the COV ID-19, we've helped numerous local students succeed in their academic results as other institutions shut down and terminated their services. MAS continued to provide and support students with their suitable academic needs. We invite students to become an integral part of our institution as they'll find their academic journey easier and comfortable. We draw our experience from our former partnerships with numerous institutions before MAS became an institution itself. We are glad to have worked with our former partners and thank them for letting us share valuable experiences which have shaped and formed the experience we've gained to in part it to our valuable students at the existing time.
