2 Statement of compliance

These
financial statements
have been prepared in compliance with the provisions of FRS 102 Section 1A, 'The Financial Reporting Standard applicable to the UK and Republic of Ireland'. There were no material departures from that standard.

3 Accounting policies

Basis of preparation

The principal accounting policies adopted in the preparation of the financial statements are set out below and have remained unchanged from the previous year, and also have been consistently applied within the same accounts.
The

have been prepared under the historical cost convention as modified by the revaluation of certain fixed assets.
The
financial statements
are prepared in sterling, which is the functional currency of the company.

Turnover

Turnover represents the value, net of VAT and discounts, of goods provided to customers and work carried out in respect of services provided to customers.

Tangible assets

Depreciation is calculated so as to write off the cost of an asset, less its estimated residual value, over the useful economic life of that asset as follows:

Stocks

Stocks and work-in-progress are valued at the lower of cost and net realisable value, after making due allowance for obsolete and slow moving items. Cost includes all direct expenditure and an appropriate proportion of fixed and variable overheads.

Pension costs

The company operates a defined contribution scheme for the benefit of it's employees. Contributions payable are recognised in the profit and loss account when due.

4 Limited by guarantee

The company is limited by guarantee and has no share capital.
Every member of the company undertakes to contribute to the assets of the company, in the event of a winding up, such an amount as may be required not exceeding £1.
