1. To promote jazz gigs and associated arts events in Leicester 2. To advance education in jazz and associated arts 3. To foster, encourage and promote understanding/appreciation of jazz and associated arts 4. To be an active member of the EMJazz network 5. To work in partnership with other organisations which share these aims 6. To promote inclusivity in jazz locally and more widely in the midlands.
The key stakeholders are East Midlands Jazz, audience members, venues, directors and artists . There is ongoing consultation and dialogue with all of our stakeholders, which shapes our activities and programme. There is no formal consultation mechanism currently in place.
