A crucial element of Y Plant Affricanaidd programme this year is the dissemination of information about child protection laws in the UK. This knowledge enables families to protect their children effectively and also facilitates their successful integration into the community. Y Plant Affricanaidd provided tailored parenting courses for African families in the UK. Recognising the unique challenges these families may face while raising their children in a culturally diverse society, Y Plant Affricanaidd has designed these courses to bridge knowledge gaps and empower parents. Y Plant Affricanaidd facilitated community engagement through a diverse range of activities, from cultural events to support groups and community meetings. These initiatives foster a strong sense of community, promote cultural exchange, and provide crucial support mechanisms for African families in Wales.
Y Plant Affricanaidd CIC has four key stakeholder groups: - African Families in Wales. - African Families Interested in Fostering Services - Health, Social Care, and Education Professionals - African Communities and Individuals As part of our annual report, Y Plant Affricanaidd CIC has actively engaged with our key stakeholders through training sessions and meetings. During these consultations, we gathered valuable feedback from each stakeholder group. The feedback received from our stakeholders consistently highlighted the urgent need for further dissemination of information and training on child protection awareness among the African community in Wales. Y Plant Affricanaidd CIC takes the feedback from our stakeholders seriously and is committed to addressing their concerns. We will use this valuable input to inform our future initiatives, ensuring that we continue to meet the needs of the African community in Wales and further our mission of promoting child protection awareness and cultural integration.
