1. ACCOUNTING POLICIES
1a. Basis Of Accounting
The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention.
The accounts have been prepared in accordance with FRS102 - The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland and the Companies Act 2006 .
1b. Depreciation
As the company's freehold land and buildings are held for long term investment they have been included in the balance sheet at their open market values.
Changes in the values of freehold land and buildings are disclosed as a movement on the fair value reserve.
Depreciation is not provided in respect of freehold land and buildings.
