The objects of the company are to carry on activities which benefit the community and in particular (without limitation) to reduce reoffending in the community and increase engagement with authorities, education, employment and training. The CIC delivered its unique urban intervention and mentoring programmes particularly to the hard to reach including historic offenders who due to their motivation, poor life and social skills have found it difficult to get into education, employment or training. Our bespoke programmes help to cultivate a positive mindset and empower lives for positive change. We have delivered a number of one to one programmes that allow individuals who are seeking to improve their circumstances the opportunity to gain access to life mentors and resources that help them move forward. This can be be by gaining employment or qualifications or life skills.
We have consulted with our funders on a monthly basis and have fed back to them the number of individuals who have started on our programme and engaged with a peer monitor. The number who have taken up opportunities to move towards work and the number who complete the programme of support. We also consulted with the individuals seeking support to see what else they want from the programme and what their feedback is for the support they receive. It has been positive feedback with individuals helping us to tailor the programmes to what they feel are their main needs.
No remuneration was received
