The directors of the company have elected not to include a copy of the profit and loss account within the financial statements.true
For the financial year ended 31 March 2024 the company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 480 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to dormant companies.
The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 with respect to accounting records and the preparation of financial statements.
The members have not required the company to obtain an audit of its financial statements for the year in question in accordance with section 476.
These financial statements have been prepared and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

Accounting policies
Company information
The Valve Partners Limited is a private company limited by shares incorporated in England and Wales. The registered office is Unit 6, Interlink Way South, Bardon Hill, Coalville, Leicestershire, LE67 1PH.
1.1
Basis of preparation
These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with applicable accounting standards including FRS 102 “The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland” (“FRS 102”) and the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 as applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime. The disclosure requirements of section 1A of FRS 102 have been applied other than where additional disclosure is required to show a true and fair view.
The financial statements are prepared in sterling, which is the functional currency of the company. Monetary amounts in these financial statements are rounded to the nearest £.
The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention. The principal accounting policies adopted are set out below. These policies have been consistently applied to all years presented unless otherwise stated.
1.2
Going concern
The company transferred its trueinvestments to its parent undertaking on 18 January 2019 and has since ceased trading. As required by United Kingdom Accounting Standards, the directors have prepared the financial statements on the basis that the company is no longer a going concern. No material adjustments arose as a result of ceasing to apply the going concern basis.
1.3
Profit and loss account
The company has not traded during the year or the preceding financial period. During this time, the company received no income and incurred no expenditure and therefore no Profit and loss account is presented in these financial statements.
1.4
Financial instruments
Financial instruments are recognised in the company's balance sheet when the company becomes party to the contractual provisions of the instrument.
Debtors and creditors with no stated interest rate and receivable or payable within one year are measured at transaction price. Any losses arising from impairment are recognised in the profit and loss account.
1.5
Employee benefits
When employees have rendered service to the company, short-term employee benefits to which the employees are entitled are recognised at the undiscounted amount expected to be paid in exchange for that service.
The cost of any unused holiday entitlement is recognised in the period in which the employee's services are received.

The ultimate parent undertaking at the year end was The Valve & Actuation Group Limited. Since the year-end, the ultimate parent company has changed to be AC Valve Alliance Group Holdings Limited.
The registered address of The Valve & Actuation Group Limited is the same as the company's registered office address as given in the company information page of these financial statements.
The company is included in the consolidated financial statements of The Valve & Actuation Group Limited, which are publicly available from Companies House, Cardiff.
