The directors present their report with the financial statements of the company for the period ended 31 January 2024

Principal activities of the company

MyEco BabyCIC covers the area of Wakefield MDC. The community residents and businesses donate used children's clothes, toys, and other baby related items. These are prepared for re-sale in the shop. The shop aims to target customers that are socially disadvantaged and sell things that are priced within budgets. Some items are also donated to those in need. The CIC works with colleges to provide placements for students with special needs. Volunteers are also recruited who will benefit for an 'in work' experience. Community activities are organised (e.g. a trip to the seaside for families who are unable to afford a holiday). School holidays and Saturdays sees activities being run for children. During term time groups run to support parents/carers in the community.
