Balance sheet statements

  • 1. Accounting policies

    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

    Turnover comprises the fair value of the consideration received or receivable for the sale of goods and provision of services in the ordinary course of the company's activities. Turnover is shown net of sales/value assed tax, returns, rebates and discounts. The company recognises revenue when: - The amount of revenue can be reliably measured; - it is probable that future economic benefits will flow to the entity; - and specific criteria have been met for each of the company's activities.

Company activities and impact

OSCP provides funding to support, training and networking to adult social care providers in Oxfordshire. Over the past year OSCP has funded: - Provider networks - Annual meeting and awards celebration - Regular communications to care providers to support them throughout the year - Funding for administration and management of a local care association These products and services benefit our community by promoting services, encouraging recruitment, sharing knowledge and celebrating achievement.

Consultation with stakeholders

OSCP funds forums and meetings with care providers working in adult social care in Oxfordshire. Specifically during 2023-24 we funded regular virtual networks: - fortnightly home care provider meetings - monthly learning disability provider meetings - all providers at a county-wide conference and awards celebration - monthly care home provider meetings - monthly day time support meetings Through these network, OSCP devises its work-plan and strategy for supporting providers and promoting adult social care in Oxfordshire.
