The Autism Network provides a range of training, advice and strategic support to organisations, individuals and families impacted by autism. The services of The Autism Network are delivered by a collective of independent professionals who work in autism and neurodiversity, working together as and when required to deliver the projects we are contracted for. As last year, in this year this has included support to local authorities in the delivery of autism training and autism strategy work, running a parent support service and delivery of post-diagnosis support. Our post-diagnosis work for older autistic adults has resulted in the development of a successful support program which will continue into next year with the view of enabling wider participation from across Scotland. This year beyond our contracted work we also deliver a range of free services as and when we are able. This has included: 1. Production of a range of free information materials for parents of autistic children 2. Signposting to other organisations and sources of information 3. 1-1 advice and support to individuals 4. Presentations at national and local conferences/seminars.
The company’s stakeholders are all those we work with and support through our service delivery. This has included professionals in local authorities and health services as well as people with autism and their families. The feedback that The Autism Network receives from partners and stakeholders is consistently positive and appreciative. We have identified a small group of other professionals and organisations who we have also worked closely with during the year and identify them as associate network members. Although they have no formal status within the organisation, we look to them for feedback about our work and future priorities.
No renumeration was received, other than that which is shown in the accounts.
No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
