Company activities and impact

We continue to provide in-person and online events specifically for the autistic community, their families, and professionals. Interactive, information and bespoke programs tailored for the vast range of needs. The business activities benefited the community for the following: Running weekly autism support groups for parents and carers in term time only without children Working in partnership with local, national, and international organisations Attend local and national organisations, NHS SWL ICB and Thinking Partners to provide insight to expert by lived experiences from a parent perspective and a cultural perspective. (Winter Engagement Funds and Children and Young People Engagements Grant) Host the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programs in Lambeth, Wandsworth, and Croydon (Winter 2023 only) supported by local councils and funded by Dept of Education in providing enriching programs for SEND children eligible for free school meals (FSM) – Benefits Related Introduced a 16 – 25 SEND Holiday Provision for those unable to access other holiday program facilitated by Googly Ltd (Pan-disability cricket organisation) One off Autism Family Information Fun Days to raise awareness and funded by NHS SWL ICB at New Addington Leisure Centre and Tooting Leisure Centre collecting data. (Winter World April Autism Acceptance Week Family Fun Day with local VCS and local Wandsworth Police attended. Exhibited at The BATCA Community Fun Day Participated in Kew Garden Community Access Scheme thoughts on how to make inclusive. Residents and neighbouring residents were able to explore resources, information and up to date policies attending local and national groups with updates online and social media. Exhibited and Presentation at the National Autism Show – London Online coffee mornings for parents’ carers, 50 plus and professionals Online training with Anna Freud Centre and AT-Autism Speaking engagements: New Scotland Yard and National Police Race Action Plan (Birmingham) Introduced new webinar on Autism: Sexual Health & HIV to be continued Providing CPD training - “autism: cultural perspective’ and autism Run Friday Weekly Inclusive SEND Family U5’s at West Norwood Leisure Centre A2ndvoice partner with MovementWorks to host weekly Friday session: West Norwood Leisure Centre Hosting Autism in Racing CIC, friendly sessions at British Racecourses Participated and recruiting for Research Studies with UCL Participated in the Post-diagnosis Reference Group with Ambitious about Autism: Looking at Post-Diagnosis for Young Adults Wandsworth SEND Strategy Appreciative Inquiry Session making a difference to local community. Attend the Wandsworth Sexual and Reproductive Health Strategy - Stakeholder Workshop – bring the autistic perspective to the forefront. Hosting wellbeing session: Canvas Painting once a month session Part of the “Embracing Communities: Collaborating for Better Maternity Care” short films launched in November 2024 Looking at Black History Month - Reclaiming the narrative - Encouraging global majority children and families to learn to swim/gain confidence in the water (our involvement looking at autistic people and their families)

Consultation with stakeholders

The company’s stakeholders are local and national residents of families with autistic individuals and their families, mainly from Wandsworth, Lambeth, Croydon borough and surrounding areas. For those online accommodating those from outside of London who struggle with travelling. This includes visitors, professionals, autistic adults, and researchers to A2ndvoice CIC, referrals, self-referrals and signposting families to the relevant service providers and organisations. Company Directors come with different background of experiences in autism and SEND, health and wellbeing, cultural appropriate support and information, foster caring, leisure and activities who live locally and nationally for a number of years and developed the business model for A2ndvoice CIC. As part of the criteria applying for funding and grants, we ask participants to fill in an evaluation form to find out what services they would require thereafter. Due to the GDPR and information sharing we discard of documents once project is complete. It’s crucial in making sure we listen to the voices to making sure we provide our specialist provision and continue to evolve in the transition stages.
