We are committed to securing funding for the next five years and have spent our funding within the allocated time. Our current assets will remain in use for the group and other users where we can provide

Since our launch we have provided a monthly community lunch service for over 50 members of our community. This included delivering lunches at home several times a week for those who have restricted mobility and not been able to get out which meant they could still access the service. Our initial consultation stated 85% of our senior residents and their families confirmed that this had a positive impact on all of their lives. This has now risen to over 96% proving this is vital and much needed in the area. It has connected many of our older and senior residents who live alone with offering befriending and a regular meal, for the families support knowing their loved ones are being looked after while they are working. The service provides a link to the world outside for those who are not able to get out due to mobility or illness. Many have no family nearby or at all and this provides a meal and comfort. Our team of volunteers have built up strong relationships with the members and their families. This has been very helpful to ensure they can access everything they need and connect them with any other support required. Many of our volunteers have gone on to find employment in various sectors with new skills gained through their experience with CCN. We have organised various events and day trips which we have been told is essential for mental health and wellbeing. Accessing funding streams has allowed us to ensure that all of our members can participate and that no one is left behind We would also like to extend this to some of our younger residents and arrange more trips. Our members have already provided us with ideas for themed events and places to visit.
We have continued to liaise with our local supermarkets Morrisons and Co-op who have been generous and supplied some donations for our easter, halloween and xmas events. We have continued this relationship and will do so in the future We have also linked in with local churches and housing associations. Southside Housing were kind to donate a monetary value which allowed us to purchase further items for our community lunches. Likewise we link in with our local officers at Police Scotland, SFRS and other services who can also direct vulnerable residents to our group.
No remuneration was received
No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
