COMMUNITY INTEREST ANNUAL REPORT

PEOPLE'S MEEPLES (NE) C.I.C.

Company Number: 14458370 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 30 November 2023

Company activities and impact

This year we worked with the NHS and Hartlepool Borough Council to provide activities designed to reduce isolation, improve levels of social anxiety, and focus on the development of maths skills (through the ‘multiply’ scheme). We did this through partnering with local libraries to run games clubs, creating our own safe space for gaming, and running multiple different clubs. The Hartlepool community have benefited by having access to a low-cost hobby space, been able to meet other people who also enjoy gaming, or have encountered gaming for the first time and are enjoying the social and cognitive benefits.

Consultation with stakeholders

Our stakeholders are funders predominantly Hartlepool Borough Council and the NHS and Members of the public in Hartlepool particularly those engaged in board games and miniature gaming. We keep in regular contact with our funders and have submitted all necessary monitoring reports. We regularly ask for formal feedback from our members through surveys as well as informally through conversations with directors. We are all active in the gaming community in Hartlepool and volunteer at our gaming events.

Directors' remuneration

Remuneration paid to Jason Griffiths £3460 for the work carried out for CIC.

Transfer of assets

No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
