  • 1. Accounting policies

    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

    Turnover represents the total revenue from the sale of books, educational services provided, and income generated from YouTube videos during the financial period, net of any discounts, returns, and excluding VAT. Revenue from book sales is recognized upon delivery of the goods to the customer. Income from educational services is recognized when the service is provided. Revenue from YouTube videos is recognized when earned, based on YouTube’s ad revenue metrics.

    Tangible fixed assets depreciation policy

    Tangible fixed assets are stated at cost, net of depreciation and any impairment. Depreciation is calculated to write off the cost of each asset over its estimated useful life as follows: Computers: Depreciated on a straight-line basis over 3 years. Phones: Depreciated on a straight-line basis over 2 years. Microphones: Depreciated on a straight-line basis over 3 years.
