The League of Curiosity CIC is a not-for-profit social enterprise dedicated to building stronger communities through the power of storytelling and creative thinking. The League of Curiosity use the power of storytelling to support creative thinking and wellbeing. The company’s mission is to inspire and engage through the magic of storytelling, helping to foster creativity, connection, and empowerment. The League of Curiosity CIC has provided the community with accessible and high-quality arts provision through storytelling-based performances, creative thinking activities, and interventions. The company has supported the community to create their own work, develop and fulfil creative aspirations and develop their capacity for creative thinking. This has been achieved via a variety of workshops and performances (in theatres, non-traditional spaces and festivals). The League of Curiosity has led on a variety of projects that have supported and improved community mental wellbeing through creative, social, and physical provisions. This has included, but not limited to, walking and talking projects and youth programmes.
The League of Curiosity’s key stakeholders are the children, young people, families and adults that we engage with through our projects, programmes, and performances. Other stakeholders include our network of artistic facilitators and key partners. We are committed to consulting with our stakeholders and where required, acting in response to feedback. We constantly ask our youth programme users for feedback and suggestions so that we can make sure their needs are facilitated for. Our lines of communications with our community are clear and open
