Balance sheet statements

For the year ending 31 January 2024 the company was entitled to exemption under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.

Company activities and impact

Circus strong has been working to try and improve the lives of LGBTQ people, Peak District Youth & individuals with mental health issues such as depression & social anxiety. We have done this by delivering regular aerial circus classes throughout the year with a focus on creating a safe space. In total, we have delivered X8 classes a week for 50 weeks of the year

Consultation with stakeholders

Circus Strong’s stakeholders are Derbyshire LGBTQ individuals, Ashbourne residents/families and the wider Peak district community We have been speaking to these stakeholders throughout the year via informal conversations. Following this the following we’re implemented 1) Additional classes to satisfy capacity issues 2) A new gymnastics class 3) Holding of a showcase

Directors' remuneration

The aggregate amount of emoluments paid to or receivable by directors in respect of qualifying services was £22431. There were no other transactions or arrangements in connection with the remuneration of directors, or compensation for director’s loss of office, which require to be disclosed
