Shining Cliff Centre benefits the community in a number of ways. It offers classroom facilities and outdoor space for local schools to deliver field trips and educate children around nature and the environment. Local residents benefit from being able to attend classes and access the facilities. This helps the local community and raises awareness of environmental protection issues.
Stakeholders including local residents and local schools were invited to an open forum to discuss what benefits they would like to be achieved from the facilities on offer. Schools were consulted to understand how classroom activities could aid delivery of the curriculum. From the consultation clearer access ways were developed to aid users to be able to access areas around the centre.
The total amount paid or receivable by directors in respect of qualifying services was £11188. There were no other transactions or arrangements in connection with the remuneration of directors, or compensation for director’s loss of office, which require to be disclosed.
