COMMUNITY INTEREST ANNUAL REPORT

SISTERS IN BUSINESS COMMUNITY CIC

Company Number: 13165264 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 31 January 2024

Company activities and impact

During the financial year, we held 10 networking events both in-person and virtually, 2 roundtable discussions focused on the barriers Muslim women face in business, and we ran 2 workshops specifically for teen Muslim girls. Additionally, we hosted various courses and workshops. These initiatives have enabled us to expand our reach within the Muslim sisters' community, providing them with opportunities to gain knowledge and feel empowered in running their businesses.

Consultation with stakeholders

The company’s stakeholders are Muslim women, whom we have consulted throughout the year through surveys and questionnaires. As a result of this feedback, we have been able to offer virtual meetups for those unable to attend our in-person events. We are also in the process of organising regular coffee mornings and co-producing events that are more focused on mental health.
