Clyde Care (UK Solutions) CIC was incorporated on 12th January 2017 and offers 1-1 support for people who are vulnerable, disabled or suffer from mental health issues. The instant outcome is improved quality of life and living conditions, with the longer term impact being improved health & well being. We help eradicate poverty within our community and offer employment to those deemed to be distant from the job market due to mental health reasons, poor education, or lack of self confidence. We offer training on recognised trades, office skills and provide driving lessons, empowering people and giving them the tools required and the opportunity to have a successful career. We offer home improvements to improve the living conditions of vulnerable people in our community. We supply new, quality pre-loved furniture and home essentials to make a house a home and removing the need for these items to go to landfill. We renovate gardens and communal space so people can have a place to socialise. We involve the community and work alongside volunteers and help move vulnerable people to their new homes and offer a befriending service that helps ease loneliness. We work alongside Housing Associations and social workers to help vulnerable people who may have broken their tenancy agreement and require help around their home. We are trained on mental health awareness and will compassionately clear the property of all waste and unwanted chattels. We complete a deep clean and supply furniture and home essentials to make a house a home. Timescales match the client's needs and can be completed over a short period of time or over a longer set period, so not to cause upset or trauma.
The stakeholders are residents, other groups in the area who offer a service to the less fortunate in our community, local council, and councillors - although Clyde Care has formed a working relationship with these groups no formal consultation has taken place. We have however had verbal feedback from our beneficiaries, and the qualitative data is positive and indicates that our service is worthwhile and even invaluable for some.
The directors remuneration information is within the notes to the annual accounts.
No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
