The activities of the company will provide benefit to the community of Hartlepool as a whole and particularly to the Headland Community which is one of the towns twelve wards. The company will establish a micro enterprise centre and community hub. The community will benefit from the establishment of the Hub in a central location of the Headland in a building empty for 10 years. The Hub will bring activity and people into the area assisting in the area’s revival. The centre will encourage and facilitate moves to self employment in a supportive community environment acting as an incubator for local micro businesses. Facilities will be affordable on a not-for-profit basis and free for an introductory period with no strings attached.
