    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

    For the financial year, Global Peace Ins (GPI) CIC did not generate any income, as there were no charges for training services or external funding received. In future financial statements, any turnover will be recognized in accordance with the delivery of training sessions, grant income, and other funding as outlined in GPI’s turnover recognition policy.

Company activities and impact

During the financial year, Global Peace Ins (GPI) CIC focused on delivering training programs for educators both online and in person in the Maldives. These training sessions aimed to equip educators with conflict resolution and peace-building skills to foster supportive and inclusive learning environments. Through these activities, GPI contributed to the professional development of local educators, enhancing their ability to address social challenges within their communities. By empowering educators, the company has had a positive impact on the broader community, supporting a culture of peace and resilience.

Consultation with stakeholders

Throughout the year, Global Peace Ins (GPI) CIC engaged in regular consultation with key stakeholders to ensure our training programs aligned with the needs of the educational community in the Maldives. This included discussions with school administrators, local educators, and community leaders to understand the unique challenges they face in fostering peaceful and supportive learning environments.
