Company activities and impact

Indian National Students Association (INSA) UK is an incorporated, CIC founded in 2016 with the vision to create a ‘Home away from Home’ for Indian students in the UK. INSA endeavours to provide a go-to platform for these students to integrate dexterously and embrace life in the UK. The organization has two-fold objectives and provide free services: (1) First, to promote the well-being and protect the interests of Indian students coming to the UK. (2) Second, to nurture future leaders and ambassadors for India. Guided by the principle of ‘India First’, INSA also focuses on spread of Indian Culture and Ideas. INSA presently has members from universities across the UK, with chapters established in several universities. INSA UK is governed by an Advisory Board (AB). The Advisory Board guides and mentors the National Committee (NC) on the day-to-day affairs of the organisation. The National Committee comprises of working professionals who serve as University Mentors for different INSA chapters and different workstreams. Different INSA chapters, guided by their respective mentors, work at the university level, and carry out various events and activities in the university.

Consultation with stakeholders

The company stakeholders are students, mentors, advisory board members and volunteers who are either current students or former UK university students. With the past UK university student life, they enhance current student life. Time to time we always take recommendations from stakeholders such as students and mentors on how we can promote the well-being and interest of Indian students coming to the UK to ensure we are always ahead of the expectations of future students. The regular communication with the existing stakeholders always helps in nurturing the future students coming to the UK.
